Every tank that gets compared to the STRV-122 and 2A7 do not come off favorably. I don’t think russian tanks are bad they are just sub optimal for some situations, which is totally fine. I would like to see the T-14 in game would be a nice change of pace for russia to get a tank like that just depends on what features they decide to model on it.
That’s because it solved most issues earlier Leopards had, making them the best tanks overall.
Bad hull armor ? Not anymore.
Bad thermals ? Not anymore.
No spall liners ? Not anymore.
That’s like Russia gets a tank with good gun depression, reverse speed and ammo in the turret. Of course it would be really strong, as that would negate most cons they had.

They’ve been testing the 50~ they have to work out any flaws in the design, as they have been by doctrine since the T-54
Well the reloads pretty much always ensure Russia is at a disadvantage. If they fixed the T-80U (and newer) reloads, it would help a ton.
You should tell that to the guy asking for better ammo.
Even the Russians proved the auto loader being the only thing loaded, and no extra ammo all over the tank drastically increased the survivability.
I think with a reverse gear fix, and the ability to take longer projectiles, they’d be pretty damn good

Cyclograms taken from manuals of T-64/80 seires basically state 6 seconds for all of them except for ATGM reload of T-64/80B/BV.
So in other words MZ should always reload at 6 seconds, unless it’s loading 9M112 which should be 7.1 seconds, just as the time that is taken for T-80BV/64BV but always instead of ATGMs only.

3BM60 is 2004 shell, it was accepted into service with T-90A.

Carousel-style autoloaders don’t have a fixed reload speed as it depends heavily on where the closest shell of the selected type is placed in the autolader, which isn’t always in the slot right next to the current one. Hell, some shells like 3BM59/60 don’t even fit next to eachother.
If anything the reload on carousel autoloaders should vary between every shot depending on a minimum and maximum reload time, which everyone including gaijin realized is stupid for gameplay purposes when your reload suddenly becomes 3 seconds longer and basically RNG, so they settled on fixing it at the speed it takes to reload a shell two slots over as a decent compromise which is where the 6.5s and 7.1s reload times comes from even though they can reload faster.
Nor do manual loaders yet here we are.
6 seconds stated in cyclogram is average for next shell in carousel, aka unless you change ammo type your reload will be around 6 seconds always.
A lie. Maximum reload time is only achieved when switching to ammo type that is the farthest from current ammo used. If continuing fire on the same ammotype the reload will be just as the cyclogram states or above the same time.
6,5 may be, but 7.1 for all reloads when realistically it’s only ATGM reload time is bs. Especially when they just randomly decide to keep other autoloaders like CV90105/CL-CV90105 and Boxer autoloaders overperforming by 2,5 seconds.

Make new technology > field on new tank in small numbers for spearheads/specialized units > make technology simpler/more cost effective > field a new simpler tank on main line units > operate both tanks at the same time.
Their lack of frontline use is indicitive that the Russians are not yet happy with the design as we have seen slight modifications fielded such as different shape of the hull ERA.
