only better thing in russia than nato the ka52 and pantsir
Let’s not forget about the SU25SM3 capabilities.
xD play with spaa
push g
find cover
Still they’re par on being the worst SPAAs in the game at this moment.
Only good if you have seen many shoot the dang-on thing down since it does struggle ever so slightly depending on the situation.
I have a fun feeling that SU-25SM3s aren’t having as much fun now that AMRAAMs exist.
They absolutely don’t, but they can get few kills before getting stomped on by them, now you can spawn an F16C with AIM120 for only 630points which is easy to get.
It literally does not, and yeah the R-73 and 9M were introduced in the past ten months, which is why I mentioned it (1.5 years > 10 months)
Are you incapable of reading or something the 9L literally has more fin AOA and again why are you even voicing your opinion you own no aircraft that even use the 9l or 60m
I feel that its abilities are overhyped. I grinded throught the su25s to get it about a month ago just to see how good it is. Imo, it is very overhyped
No, they’re not equivalent.
The Pershings have far better gun handling, a lot more explosive mass, and more effective armor. (Pershing mantlets have been ~250mm for a while now)
They’re easily superior vehicles. Although I do think the M26 should go back to its 6.3 BR, considering the T26E5 is one of the best 6.7s in the game and far superior to the M26 (I would personally rather take the T26E5 over the IS-3, there’s your "Russia, gaijin’s favorite)… Which is at the same BR in the same tree. Makes no sense.
gun handling issue fixed with later panthers, better pen on the panthers, but the pershings armor is definietly better. As for mobility, pather has top speed of 46kph and hp/ton of 11.98. Pershing has 48kph top speed and hp/ton of 10.62. the panther has better forwards mobility due to its superior acceleration and hp/ton. backwards, the panther has a top speed of 3.7 kph. pershing is 15.5 kph.
pershing trades raw pen, fwd mobility, for better postpen, better armor, and better reverse. the pershing is rough equal to or slightly better than the panther A/G
also i was using it as an example of irl advancement carrying over a bit in game in the form of lower BR for a vehicle than what it could have been, and how it positively affects the game overall.
pershing really shouldnt be 6.7 theres literally no reason to use it
*Very small amounts of raw penetration.
*Very small amounts of forward mobility
*Much better post pen
*Considerably better armor
*Incomparably superior reverse (like, do you realize how much of a difference a 3km/h and a 15km/h reverse make?)
No. The Pershing is superior to the Panther. That is reflected in everything. But the T26E5 is impossibly superior and is at 6.7 while the M26 is just superior yet is also 6.7. So it should be 6.3 instead. But in no world should the Pershing ever share the same BR as the Panther considering it is an outright superior vehicle.
Skill issue, stop blaming the game. Get better.
fair enough
womp womp
? what
Well deserve tbh
You made a clear statement - but imho you might try to take a step back.
So regarding your claim “USSR/RU” bias -
There are basically just two possibilities:
- You are right
- You are wrong
What would be the benefit for gaijin for such bias?
- Transportation of a political message = USSR/RU is better
- Indoctrination (=sub-conscious) of RU kids (“We have better hardware”) in order to give them a psychological boost before they got drafted
- Same issue the other way around = convincing kids in Nato countries that Russians have better hardware in order to weaken their potential fighting spirit in case they get drafted
What would be the risk if this bias is too obvious or could be proven by hard evidence?
- If the bias would be too obvious - players emotionally or just patriotically attached to a certain nation (= non-USSR/RU) would stop playing the game - and not spend money
- If the bias could be proven - like with a “gaijin- leaks” - the game would be dead. A shit-storm on all possible (social) media in Western countries would lead to bans / boycotts = Game over.
In other words:
-
If USSR/RU bias would exist - it would be perfectly hidden in RNG functionalities and would have a rather limited scale - just in order to avoid reducing sales for non-USSR/RU premium vehicles.
-
If you believe that this USSR/RU bias is existing - there is nothing wrong with voting with your personal wallet.
-
Have in mind that this video game is rather powerful (social) media tool - and is actually perfectly suited to be used as propaganda tool to implant certain messages - but is foremost a business, so if something like USSR/RU bias would exist it won’t be a primary goal, and it would be incredible hard to prove it.
Summary:
Interesting topic / discussion, often repeated since the launch of the game - but imho futile.
As outlined above - if bias would exist, it would be hidden and rather subtile. Everything else would make no economic sense.
But: As long as not all data / parameters of the game and codes are known - you can’t exclude anything.
I’ve noticed you mentioning the recent additions to the USN through this thread but, Have you ever used the JMSDF Destroyer Escorts? If so the Dealey class plays like a faster Isuzu class just without torpedo armament or forward firing mortars since the devs chose to model the earliest version (the squid mortars don’t work just like the british equipped ships), Sidenote it still doesn’t have GFCS yet which makes ranging at range suck arse (how can they leave for not one but two updates for a new machine??? An yet the modt recent update had emergency fixes across the board).
But these ships are nowhere close to a Project 159 or Project 35 especially in armament as afterall the 3"/50 Mk 22 cannon is a late WWII gun with a slightly post war receiver iirc, Also only one mount is enclosed but that doesn’t matter since the open & closed mounts get knocked out easily, Meanwhile the AK-726 are inclosed mounts that have twice the fire rate (duh 1960’s cannon) but lack APHE, If you are to meet a soviet Sentry Ship aim quickly or you’re doomed (imo).
Also screw the bullcrap between these cannon types as one is forced to be belts that can cost up to 6700 sl an if you fire one shell fromone of these belts you’ll instantly lost X amount of SL for the whole belt even if you only use 200 shells, meanwhile those soviet cannons use single shells that are free or cost 7 sl. (Worst offender for that first part is the Destroyer JDS Ayanami DD-103 as firing a little of both APHE & HE-VT an you lose 13400 sl).
Meanwhile the Buckley class I’ve not played much so far but the 5"/38 cannons pack a punch but the shell costs mean you may lose more than you gain in SL (just like the Type 41), but at 4.0 two 5"/38 cannons are on the low end in firepower as even at 4.0 there are ships with four of them firing shells at 1 sl.
The ten 40 mm/60 bofors is probably what makes it 4.0 imo as they will melt smaller vessels (excluding destroyers curse the BS reasons frigate AI cannot fire at smaller destroyers) & will down close in aircraft quickly.
Unfortunately survivability is ehh as the ready racks are prone to boom & somehow you can receive unrepairable breaches from 5" shellfire.
ntm the oerlikons seem to be bugged sometimes as you’ll fire a clip then you you cannot reload any further.
