Ye, there are F2P players who grinded for them lol So good to say it’s not really a pay to win. Takes a while to collect but its there.
You will anyway because you are about point scoring on a forum rather than any attempt to try and improve matter or underline a problem.
What Bovey is saying is just consumer law as it is in many countries
You simply can’t take money off people for a service or product then abandon that service or downgrade that product below what was offered. You just cant ,not even if Gaijin try to rewrite the law into their own small print. This is why people complin to Paypal or their credit card companies and those companies agree with them.
Then they take the back money from Gaijin and you have players in negative GE and Gaijin close their account.
That is why you are wrong and will always be wrong no matter how butt hurt you might be over the existence of bushes.
I would say this: if you want to nerf bushes so they no longer exist in the game or just plain remove them do so but refund the customer. Don’t offer something then completely nerf it to death especially not to appease those who do not pay. You will lose your custom very quickly.
The current Warbond has the bushes now. Previous one had decor of hats and such. It rotates every time the warbond resets.
So anyone who wants them can grind for it.
The funny thing for me was that I just thought to myself. Hey, I’ll give it a try. And my first thought was “No banana leaves, please!”
And what did I get by chance? The most useless of all camouflages. I’m going to try it again this time, but I’m already counting on an addition to my banana leaf collection.
I definitely won’t be buying any deco camouflage for GE.
I’m glad to see that your dislike of me overshadows the points I’m making.
My point isn’t on how to fix bushes. My points were to highlight the problems they cause and spreading awareness of it, as well as refuting pro-bush rhetoric, as they are unhealthy for the game.
If you want to know how I think bushes should be handled: here is.
Bushes should be cosmetics first, last and always, not a crutch.
Therefor players should be able to disable other player’s bushes, much like cosmetics, in their options menu.
For this I believe it would be fair to give a compensation, much like you say.
But hey, I guess I just want to “score points on a forum”, because someone on the internet said so.
You don’t irritate me as much as some others because you don’t have an agenda, you just see the game in a different way and with possibly years and thousands of miles between us that is understandable. I still give likes when you talk sense and on many occasions you do. Not this time. It’s pretty clear cut.
Take it up with Gaijin but your complaining and the whining of others like you has made it so bushes can now be removed and last no more than seconds when that was never the case when so many paid so much for them. Yes that I find annoying as others have stated they do too.
It should be that my issue is not with you and your issue not with me it is Gaijins fault.
They cheated the paying public, albeit unintentionally when they introduced an advantage for paying players that upset the F2P people.
Then they compounded the issue by siding with those who do not pay over those who do and nerfing bushes to death while not refunding.
This is my point that Gaijin just can’t screwing up, every issue made worse by the dumb attempt at a solution.
Same with maps and CAS or many other aspects of the game. It’s mostly kneejerk decisions to hastily made complaints and despite what many say this forum seems to be the route of the problems as much as the solutions.
Yeah, so true . . . I will be getting my 16th FREE boosh from the Warbond Shop during the current BP, and even tho I play mainly AB tank battles, I still put booshes on all my tanks. Just in case I wanna go into a RB or Sim match and besides . . . it gets me into all the Kewl Kid’s parties . . . so there is that as well
☻
The jungle bushes are the best for winter warfare ironically as they turn almost completely white. Probably the best of all the bushes for most maps.
Why did you post this??? Do you not read responses before you post??? All you did is repeat something I ALREADY posted.
DID YOU NOT READ WHAT I PUT???
You can “ALL” get some bushes if you want, you don’t have to buy them.
This bit should be noted by all the wingers and whiners who complain about so called “unfair bushes”.
Obviously… logic dictates, that only reason you want to complain in the 1st place, is because you are all getting fed up with being killed by players with bushes on their tanks, otherwise you would have nothing, or something else to complain about. Stop complaining and get some bushes of your own so you don’t get spotted so easy, simple. They are free of “real” money.
How would any player on this game react to all they paid for being removed?
umm ok…lol
Ah yes the real life argument.
Remove player markers on all vehicles as well then.
In maybe 6 years I got all bushes for free ^^ … so … live and let die.
Make bushes a module you unlock for research points for each tank, or do it like the camoflague system where you need X kills or maybe Y caps instead. With the ability to pay golden eagles to skip.
Boom. You got your historical accuracy claims. You got your ability to wallet warrior unlock them with golden eagles and “keep the game alive.”
And you also have a way to obtain them that isn’t RNG that only occurs once a year in a pretty insane grind.
Like. Battle pass special tasks are insane if you can only play 2-3 matches per day. For instance, I currently have “Win 15 air RB battles over tier 3 with activity over 50%”
Assuming a 50% win rate (intended and desirable in a competetive game), you’ll need to play 30 air RB matches on average. Assuming each takes 10 minutes (plenty go to 20 or full 25 thanks to space climbers hiding and tickets being slow without bombs) and you got under an hour to play each day, best case you’ll get ~3 wins/day.
That is 5 days for 1 special task.
It’s only free in the most generous sense.
Gladly as soon as VOIP is implemented to simulate the sharing of information otherwise scouting remains.
No, while we are at the realism argument, there should be no scouting. Regardless of VOIP, there is no VOIP irl. And while we are at it, we need fuel sliders as well, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense that these tanks are running on infinite fuel.
Tanks can operate inside battle conditions, the issue of fuel comes when traveling to the battle area. We do not do this in War Thunder.
oh hey there a tank coming over that hill! gotta spend 10 seconds using my MG to break his bushes off just to see his weakspot and hope he doesn’t kill me before then.
