Remove Aim Assist - It's anti-competitive

Radar SPAA can do the same thing technically

Console players with aim assist is a massive, unfair advantage because it requires no skill to use … just hold the trigger button and fire at the same time and it’s GUARANTEED kills. Give PC players the same action if you’re going to force PC and console to play together.

I don’t think you even know what you’re talking about lol

Console players dont get aim assist, they get literal wall hacks on any plane. That is what should be removed, I dont think console should have any assisted tracking at all. Any console player advocating for this “feature” is abusing it to the games detriment.

Aim assist not wallhacks for bombing and shooting with verhicles/planes while on the move.

Bro we can’t even look at the marketplace

lol, lmao even, LMFAO if you will

I don’t really believe tracking an aircraft similar to radar would be considered “wallhacks” especially since it stops of they break line of sight.

And yeah bro console players shooting down too many planes with tanks is totally breaking the game…

Biggest problem in this is on low / mid tier, where is none radar lead, but magically console bots , can track and take a lead on props . So it really gives a enormous advantage on cannon / MG Aa’s.
Next where this is starting to be issue is on saclos AA’s , since that autotrack actually tracks better compared to radar , and people are getting helos / planes locked trough trees etc, where radar cant.
Or should I mention , that on console you can track missiles , without locking target in radar and using that as advantage also.

But yes, that should be deleted from GRB completely, or having option so disable crossplay.

Not if you are a hovering heli and thats why this machanic is insufferable. Everytime i get engaged in the most random situation when playing helis, its a console player. Because they can just spin their turret spamming the key button.

Its very annoying in a age with spikes and proxy shells. I even seen a tunguska player doing that and killing 6 air targets with its radar turned off.

How is that fine?

Chill man. You are being very rude with a person that was talking normally to you. Stop defending your overpowered mechanic like a little kid.

The mechanic is like having a radar against air targets. Making effort to spot it with your own eyes is not required. Its very OP against helis. Get better at the game.

Thats why consoles have mouse/keyboard support…

If it’s such a convenient feature, why doesn’t everyone use it? Me? Nah, I don’t use it either.

oh my god… brodi, if you are a hovering heli and staying still thats your skill issue, that is the easiest target to kill… have you tried, idn? moving? i know it sounds crazy, but you can do that!

Not even the main problem imo, it can be used to actually find air targets and track them through buildings.

What a limited way of thinking.

Have you ever tried to get into a different position just above trees tops and not in the direct enemy line of sight while playing helis? Thats the moment you use the hover feature.

The point is, it instantly gives the operator a perfect central mass aim and with no eyes effort, no direct line of sight and no radar needed.

yes i get your point, but for example a lot of helis are able to lock onto targets, so if you shoot your missile out and the focus on moving around, you can avoid being shot
plus i have a friend who plays on a ps5 and he says that the tracking have been really nerfed and its not as good…the proof that you provided are outdated (3-4 years old footage) so it doesnt really represent the current state of the tracking
and also i apologize if it came of mean or anything i didnt mean it that way

These videos are old, but the only ones i could find on internet.

It has been nerfed indeed, but the nerf is related to the FOV. You still can spam it in direction helis would be, for example and still get a lock.

Died to a SAM with turned of radar while behind trees like 2 days ago. Console player.

yeah thats fair dw
and i believe (i dont know if its true or not, might ask my friend and test stuff) there is a range limitation off sort…but tbf now that i think about it it wouldnt change anything for helis since they need to be somewhat close to be effective… but gaijin just needs to do one thing and i think everyone would be happy, if they make it like so the low tier stuff gets the tracking like as if it had a radar (ofc it wouldnt say where to shoot) so they can track stuff AND it wouldnt track trought buildings or trees, so really it should work like for example a gepard tracking, and when it comes to high tier stuff, they just cant use it since it the AAs have tracking and radar…and the mbts, heavy tanks etc etc, shouldnt get accese to it, so really only low tier AAs should have that console tracking
and you mean the multi vehicle sam stuff or like the FlaRakRad?

its extremely OP against helicopters when you have proxy no radar. like 2s38 . Garbage.

love this mechanic, suffea helicopter griefers
