F4C would be fine at 9.7. It would be nice if they had a event every weekend for Sub-Sonics only though.
EEL was moved down to 9.3BR because it has awful flight models but, F-4C doesn’t.
I guess best way is moving up to 10.3BR with AIM-9J and AIM-7Es that was historical. It would be good counterparts of other flare less supersonic jets such as Mirage IIIC and F-104J, Mitsubishi F-1, Su-17M2.
the f4c has no counter measures has a terrible flight model its like the A-7s its radar is terrible
A-7s are literally subsonic and F-4C is much faster…
10.3BR wouldn’t be problem because BVR missiles are still rare in 10.0 and 10.3 iirc also, AIM-9J is still a guaranteed kill against flareless jets. Also, we already have 10.3BR Phantom in German TT so, you will be able to choose either phantom for better performance or BVR missile bus.
Extraordinary to see many people unable to use their aircrafts depending on their strenght,… when i see people with 0.5KD on F-4C with the same amount of games than i do,… well,… i do laugh at those comments.

How about giving AIM-9Js and AIM-7Es for F-4C and move up to 10.3BR?
Personnally, i can perfectly stay where it is with the current weaponnary,…
The only thing that should move are IR all-aspect attackers, and MiG-21’s F-13 and PFM being Way too low (made 4 kills yesterday, without reload in PFM)
That’s all we need to “move up” until BR decompression that will never come,…
And for things that should move down,… it’s all flareless aircraft over 10.3 to a minimum of 10.3

Do you have any idea, how hard it is to play the A-7s? Let alone get in place to even get a AIM-J behind someone ? You literally have YAKs at 8.3 with R60s

They are meaning Yak-38 in a full downtier
Gonna be honest the more i think about this and read into the more i think the best solution would be to remodel the F-4C into the F-4D, give it CMs and AIM-9Js and move it to 10.3 and it would be absolutely fine there.

True, that. The other solution is the one I mentioned earlier, where everything gets rebalanced so that the BRs are spread out - i.e, F-4C no longer faces early subsonics, and only faces good missiles in a full uptier.
If we had a matchmaker where the F-4C had to get a .7 downtier to face crappy early supersonics like the 21F, and a full uptier to face stuff like the 21SMT - that’s fine with me. It’s a heck of a lot better than what we have now.
No. Instead you should be asking for it to get countermeasure pods.
People have been asking for the F-4C to get CMs for literal years. Nothing has changed.
Since the entire BR is shot, I feel like we should rebalance everything and then whether the F-4C does or not have CMs is irrelevant.
If they wanted to give it CM pods, they would have done it by now. We’re more than 4 years removed from the introduction of the F-4C.
If you get killed by a Yak-38, its a legitimate skill issue
