Pre:
There are four bombers in Soviet aviation research tree hidden in update 1.37 due to “reducing of research”.
Aircrafts:
SB 2M-103U
SB 2M-103 MV-3
Yer-2 (M-105) TAT
Yer-2 (M-105R) TAT
Picture:

Action needed:
Re-open/ unhide for research in the researching tree.
Reasoning:
All these aircrafts are historical, were produced in reality.
They are already present in the game client. There is opinion, that they require some kind of revision of the visual model, but it is correct for entire research branch and obviously it is not the priority task for developers. At the moment entire branch have similar models, and there is no problem with present quality.
Sometimes these aircrafts can be even spotted in battles, when are used by rare veterans of the game. They are not imbalanced or declared as “unique” crafts.
The reason for hiding them in the upgrade branch (they are not premium or event ones) is no longer relevant, since the game has already implemented “subfolders” for similar vehicles/aircrafts.
In ThunderWiki, these planes are displayed as independent units, without reference to researching chains, i.e. for those who research these branches, they will not become an obstacle for obtaining other planes, but many collectors would be very happy to receive them in their hangars.
P.S.:
Would be very pleased if you support this topic and/or leave your opinion in comments. Thank you!

I agree, the reason for them to be removed doesn’t apply anymore, so there’s no reason to not add them back. I don’t even really care about aircraft, but I’m all for it!

Reason that I got to know from one of the Community Managers is that “these planes require some visual model rework. When it’s time to work on this series of planes, the hidden ones may also return, but in an updated form.” I tried to get some more information about what kind of rework is needed (maybe content creators from WT Live can help with that), but got no answer yet…
IMHO, planes from this branch are used in battles at the moment as they are, nobody exactly cares about “out of date” models, so these hidden ones also can be reopened “as they are” and someday, maybe someone will rework them…
I don’t see much of reasons of removing existing vehicles from tech tree. It’s not that a few more research points on early game vehicles will hurt someone.
One of an kind vehicle is the Chinese PT-76 (1951 model) removed from the game and substituted by the Object 211, which surprisingly, despite being removed still being played till this day.
We have bombers with placeholders cockpits and they still in-game, removing vehicles because of visual rework is the biggest and worst lie possible, as we had vehicle model rework a lot of times in the past without removing content.

To be more accurate- these bombers are not removed, they are “hidden”, players, who got them until 1.37 update can use them today. They were hidden due to “reducing of research tree”, you can check it in the 1.37 updates description.
p.s. If you are also interested in this “reopening”, please give your “like” to the topic, maybe it helps to get our point of view to the DEV-s.
But there are SO many outdated models in the game?? All of the German Panzer still have the exact same model they had 13 years ago, same goes for the vast majority of vehicles released back then. Only a handfull have been updated to newer standards, and while they look great and I think all other old vehicles should absolutely get the same treatment, I don’t see how that could be a reason to downright refuse to add them.

I have the same opinion. From “crates” like ongoing “blast watermelon” we can get some vehicles from old ages. They also do not have updated model- so what=) We get them and we play them=)))
Considering there’s a German event folder that holds 7 aircraft, I really don’t see why these vehicles can’t come back

Guys, you are welcome in this topic due to giving your “like” under my comment in BR changing topic =)
Also- respect for guys, who already put “like” to this topic=))) Maybe someday DEV-s will see this and understand, that we want these planes like they are, perfect modelling can wait.
