Raytracing is unusable on less than 12GB graphics cards at resolutions higher than 1080p, that is blurred and totally unplayable in WT (for me at least).
Everyone who says that they can use RT, take a closer look at the surrounding textures. Especially at distant objects. The game simply as much as possible reduces the quality of textures except for the texture of your vehicle.
Because the game has a clear problem with VRAM management.
8 gigabytes, for example, is not enough even for minimal RT settings at 1440p
I use only RTSM shadows and reflections on Low and textures around often fall to near ULQ quality.
In the last patches they made texture to reload and regain resolution, but still it’s a crazy demand of VRAM for such a questionable picture quality.

Cyberpunk with RT uses around 7GB@1440p with DLSS and works fine and looks great.
Only a small percentage of the playerbase spends money, and an even smaller percentage whales. These whales are likely to also have hardware capable of taking advantage of these videos.
I have an AMD too, play on 4K and use RT with FSR native and the picture is great, only on Ground map Rhine I have some frame drops, but rest stable 60fps and more
True i can play stably on low graphics 60fps with v-sync on, though it looks not that great due to the absence of anti-aliasing while sometime having fps drops
Ray Tracing off - random drops to 40-45 fps.
Ray Tracing Low - random drops to 25-40 fps + 1-2 driver restart a day in the hangar.
Ray Tracing Medium - drops to 5 fps, freezes, stuttering ana driver restarts too often to play comfortably.
Air battles are even playable but ground and navy (especially navy) feels like alpha phase.
So it’s 3060 Ti :)
Have you tried to lower texture quality / other settings and check how it works then? RT require more RAM and that can cause taht stutter.
I don’t think it’s RAM problem. I can even set high settings for ray tracing and it’s fine, stable 60 fps, in the hangar and in battles.
And suddenly BAM, 10-15 seconds freeze, driver restart and back to 60 fps.
There is doezens of topics like this on this forum and on reddit. No fix since December.
And yet, you will not check it?
I do not have such issues. I play on DX12, I play with and without RT.
