Ray Tracing off - random drops to 40-45 fps.
Ray Tracing Low - random drops to 25-40 fps + 1-2 driver restart a day in the hangar.
Ray Tracing Medium - drops to 5 fps, freezes, stuttering ana driver restarts too often to play comfortably.
Air battles are even playable but ground and navy (especially navy) feels like alpha phase.
I don’t know what the problem is. Stona says it might be RAM but I don’t think so.
WT uses about 3-4 GB RAM with or without ray tracing.
Now just driver restarted at the beginning of battle. RT medium.
I can’t do ray tracing at all, not even in 1080p, regardless of graphic settings. The graphics driver just “gets hung” after a short while in game and the entire system crashes. Gave up on RT since it’s unusable for me.
Somehow, ray tracing is however perfectly usable without issues in CoD Warzone with fully maxed out settings in 1080p @~144 fps…
I also get those issues of grpahics driver hangs, and i dont think its a my system issue, i think its a driver/war thunder issue becuase it works fine on other games. I got a 5070ti, 32 gb cl 30 6000 ram and a 9600x
I installed Nvidia App and downloaded latest driver. I had driver from June and it had to be it. But I’m not sure, I’ve been updating drivers every few weeks and after this one it works good now.
I also optimized the game in the app, maybe it helped. It turned off V-sync and turned on NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency and changed upscaling mode to quality, the rest was set on max and ray tracing custom, let’s say around medium.
I turned off NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency, turned on V-sync (it’s better in my opinion, works more smooth) and changed upscaling mode to native.
No feezes, no stuttering and no driver restarts.
Now it looks like this and I’m sure I can set even higher settings.
