It’s 8 GB.
So it’s 3060 Ti :)
Have you tried to lower texture quality / other settings and check how it works then? RT require more RAM and that can cause taht stutter.
Still, if you can, it’s better to create topic here: Hardware, Driver Problems & Advice - War Thunder — official forum
I don’t think it’s RAM problem. I can even set high settings for ray tracing and it’s fine, stable 60 fps, in the hangar and in battles.
And suddenly BAM, 10-15 seconds freeze, driver restart and back to 60 fps.
There is doezens of topics like this on this forum and on reddit. No fix since December.
And yet, you will not check it?
I do not have such issues. I play on DX12, I play with and without RT.
It’s EoT for me in this thread. If you need technical help, please continue it in section I linked earlier.
You re using FSR4.0.1?
No. DSSL 4.
Another user with some DX12/Ray Tracing issues. I assume it would be better for him to post/repost his information in this official thread so that the information/issues stay consolidated. @Stona_WT please let me know if you would prefer us to keep stuff like this separate, in its own thread, or post in a different location, etc:
Perhaps he should make a new post in the section you linked above? Hardware, Driver Problems & Advice - War Thunder — official forum
Or maybe just post into the thread below 👇
@EsseoS not sure if this issue is similar to yours, but here is this link too just in case: Dx12 Ray Tracing stuttering and driver restart
I have gone back to DX11
Too many VRAM leaks and fatal crashes.
Repost from my own DX12 post with some text redacted;
I don’t have much to say other than that I’m pretty sure I’ve narrowed it down to have some relation to Raytracing and city maps with a lot of windows. I can run the game at max settings and max raytracing with zero issue, especially on maps that do not have any modern glass windows. Even American Desert with its one-story glass-windowed buildings runs without issue for me.
But on maps with the skyscrapers and multi-story buildings, I’ll be good for the first 30-60ish seconds, then instantly crash. Turning down the raytracing resolution (RTR) factor to half fixed things for a day or so, but the crashes came back.
This is also corroborated by the fact that on any of these modern maps, even during night battles, I have no issues as long as I have thermals (through my gunner sight) or NVGs (through the commander sight) enabled, I’ll have no issue but within a few seconds of disabling one or the other and looking at the many glass windows on one of these buildings, I’ll get either a fatal game crash or in some scenarios, a PC crash.
Using a 9070XT, 9800X3D, 32GB RAM.
I also am not experiencing any kind of stuttering. Just instant crashes on maps with lots of windows while Raytracing is activated.
My drivers are updated, my GPU is seated properly, thermals never go above 65 degrees, and I submit the crash logs every time it asks.
