as of lately…no. They somehow seem to screw up the aim 120’s after every single update. The radars never seem to work properly. I wish we could boycott spending any money on Gaijin until they fix the damn game…They really don’t seem to care to fix the game and make it enjoyable again.
I can’t say i can’t have fun…But you have to target specific BRs /Vehicles/ playstyle .
Maybe the worst part is the community by FAR, because even the downsides of the game are based in what community asks or supports.
Ex.
You have a million threads about X planes need to be Y BR.
Meanwhile , you can literally complain about any vehicle and be right…and wrong at the same time.
BUT : instead they don’t spam a million threads about decompression. Across the board.
They don’t support ideas that could make the game far better…

If he had bring Su-1872SM and F-6257E in the game it would have 1million votes and people would argue about what weapons and radars they wear even if they do not exist anyway…
But things that can get pushed and make the game more intersesting/better have 62 votes.
So yes go cry about BMPT or whatever, because ^that^ is the problem and the game was ^perfectly fine^ before (it NEVER was) , instead of ask them for better and more detailed balancing…
I’d have fun if the game weren’t so riddled with bugs, to the point where it seems like the developers have abandoned it. Just fixing the damage and penetration model would radically improve the game.
I’m currently playing the M4A3 (105), and the feeling is contradictory. It’s practically overpowered against tanks with a lower BR rating, but against tanks of the same BR or higher, it’s far inferior because the HEAT rounds constantly fail to penetrate, or if they do penetrate, they do almost no damage. With a correct damage model, this tank could gain a bit of BR, since if it doesn’t kill by penetration, it does so by overpressure. It’s also worth noting that this tank has a suspension bug; if you’re on slightly uneven terrain, the tank sways continuously, making it impossible to fire accurately.
Hot damn, had a game tonight where everyone on both sides died a whole bunch but we all kept spawning vehicles. Ended up being a close match. It’s amazing how fun this game can be when people don’t one death leave, and are willing to fight to the end no matter what.
I’m starting the year off well. 12 games with the M4A3(105), in which I’ve died all 12 times and killed 3. I should report whoever designed the bullet and armor damage models to the authorities, because, for example, the HESH damage is at a level that makes it seem like you’re playing the lottery.
Well, wait, in game 13 I killed 9 without dying. It seems Gaijin also uses the damage model as a form of balancing, changing it depending on whether you have to do something in the game, or if you have to lose completely.
It really seems like the HEAT round I’m using keeps changing its damage model. Sometimes it penetrates like a regular HEAT round, but other times it acts like a HE round, unable to penetrate 30mm of armor despite having a penetration depth of 115mm. It’s a real disgrace how the developers have modeled the penetrations and damage.
That’s what’s scaring me about the French; the fact that they have so many tanks with HEAT is terrifying, and it’s all the devs’ fault and their obsession with giving HEAT rounds random penetration and damage, regardless of who you’re shooting at.
