Ive managed to make it work in certain situations but yeah most of the time it doesnt work

- Python 4 is not a 4th gen missile. Even if it was, generation means nothing. The Python 3 is a 4th gen. Hell, if generation mattered then the F-14 is identical to the Typhoon, and the F-86 is just a Me 262!
Back to the subject anyone who has played with the spyder knows how bad the p5 is when it comes to its flight performance
Wobbles at launch and lacks gimble for the seeker should be 90° instead of 80° which should help when it comes to targets flying close from the launcher
Lacks a lot of impulse form its motor and cannot reach mach 2 in flight

Idc how it’s implemented, a python 4 is both: A. More realistic and common in historical and modern Israeli loadouts; and B. A more capable and feasible answer to combatting airframe powercreep since fighting Eurocanards and twin engine BVR jets is exceedingly tough, the addition of an accurate, interesting and good IR missile with features designed to complement the shortcomings of the F-16 airframe should come with the addition of the Sufa and just in time to offer some counter to the MICA in close range fights. Plus, upon your initial whining about just how unfair the Python 4 was, I suggested the dumbing down of the missile’s parameters in order to be less unfair, and then you turn around and tell me that I’m fabricating it’s statistics and creating an imaginary missile.
So tell me this, what is your point, because to me it seems you are just playing ‘little miss contrarian’ instead of coming up with anything productive

What you are saying is stupid and wrong
There is a reason we use generation for planes and missiles and its mainly to see the difference in technology
Gen 1 missile basic ir seeker aim 9b needed line of sight to be fired
Gen2 more advanced seeker better gimbal more maneuverable can now be uncaged they also have more range aim 9g and aim 9h
Gen 3 beginning of true all aspects seekers and aim 9L Python 3 and r60
Gen 4 beginning of irccm seekers (focal plane array and track suspension) and thrust vectoring
R73 Python 4 magic 2 and 9m all had the ability to discriminate between flares and jet engines
Gen 5 beginning of imaging infrared seeker basically making it impossible to flares
Aim 9x irist Python 5 asraam mica ir

These will come with the Python 5, not 4
An appropriate addition to come alongside the Python 4 is the R-73M (and other modifications of the 73 family, not the upgraded 74 family) and Aim-9x prototypes without IIR seekerheads

Seeker maybe,but pulls more G so it will be better.
Look at Russia´s winrate, 40% and going down,its lowest of all nations on top tier despite all that.
So you want to:
- make up an arbitrary missile to be the best in the game
- call it the Python 4
- add it to one single nation, leaving all others with no counters nor counterparts
- ostensibly to “counter power creep” which is hilarious irony
- deny doing the exact same thing, adding similarly nerfed in performance armaments to other nations just because
Meanwhile I have a simple and logical thought process:
- vehicles and armaments should be modelled as accurately as reasonably possible
- if doing so would be unbalanced said vehicle or armament should not be added
