And if I may ask, what is that primary point? You’ve said the F-16I should get a missile that far outclasses everything else. You claimed it would be balanced with a nerfed seeker. I pointed out the larger issue is the oppressive advantage of its flight performance, to which you seemed to agree, and agree that such a missile should be added with comparable competitors so it doesn’t simply dominate. Someone else then replied essentially “nuh uh”, and of course I responded. Then now you’re attacking me?

Also, if you’re asking for a Python 4 with a nerfed seeker and nerfed flight performance you’re not asking for a Python 4. There’s nothing there left. You’re asking for a completely made-up missile painted to look like a Python 4. At that point, why? And why not give everyone completely imaginary missiles?
@kizvy yeah, as I said, different seekers. Both of which are very nerfed, as multi spectral and IIR missiles are all modelled as just fov gating and seeker shutoff when in reality they’re much more capable at distinguishing valid targets from countermeasures.
As I think I’ve made pretty clear, the bigger issue is the flight performance and not the seeker. Not everyone has access custom missions to see the Python 4 in action, but anyone can look at the Python 5 with which it shares and airframe.
i dont remember the magic 2 being nothing when it was missing its irccm

there will always be an addition that gives an edge to a nation, be it the cl13,mig 19, t2, f104, aim9 l on a10 againts flareless planes and so on
python 4 will definitely be a change, but one that will now fit in warthunder

The python 4 has been in the files for more than 2 years by now and not adding it with the planes that use them is ridiculous at this point
Giving it an suspension track irccm would make it really good for side aspects and people that fligh in a straight line with periodic on
And seeing the p5 perform i doubt it will be any better since the p4 is heavier and a little less agile but just as good
I doubt it would break the game depending on the irccm they give it

You’re desperately searching for any justification for the missile to be in-game, so much so you’re advocating to make up a Fartnugget69 missile, call it a Python 4, and add it to the game! But also of course no other nation can be granted something similar, no no no!

your whole argument gets nulified when we brings other missiles to the table that they are not even close to what they are IRL and they are already in game, soo… you are just being biased to USA you personally dont want to see israeli jets that are american made with a better fox-2 for close combat because you hate the fact that israel produced a missile to counter the R-73 existence in the middle east when USA needed to wait until early 2000s to have a better missile with better technology that finally surpassed the R-73 and Python-4 its what it is man, Python-4 its still a 4 generation IR its in the same category as the ones we have in game and thats a fact that no one can denied it would be the best of the 4 gens yes probably but it would not be overpowered with the correct threatments applied like they did to many missiles before.

Though the Aim-9M doesnt work at all in HOBS. Its direct shot or no shot
