Python 4 for F-16D and F-16I

Most definitely not

R-73 tends to flatspin while the Python 4 was designed to avoid exactly that

Not anymore it was fixed last month now its very rare for it to spin

Just made it flatspin :)

It can happend just not so often
Where r73 spins python 4 wont pull

U do impossible shot what do u expect?

That is just factually incorrect

Both achieve the same amount of overload however the R73 gets into a flatspin because it enters a stall due to its weight and small aerodynamic surfaces

No they wont r73 can reach 60gs with tvc
Python 4 can reach only 50 in the game and even that it needs time to accelerate so in stall shots it wont pull like r73 due to not having tvc

It is not impossible, you can get a custom aircraft model and try it with the Python 4 yourself

The R73 is capped to 40G in game, I don’t know where you are getting the 60G value’

guys guys, lets not deviate from the track, gaijin is the issue

Python 4 would naver made that shot
Maybe of it hold lock and come back after but i dout it gonna happen
Try it yourself i cant do it rn

I have
Multiple times

40gs without tvc
Go to tac view it can go over 50

Pls show me
Maybe they changed the missile and im unware of that

I don’t have the model on this PC

if i have time I can get on my old PC and transfer the files over

Best I can get rn is this short from when I was testing it

Small wall of text ahead, don’t know if you actually have the influence to get the devs to reconsider but I figured it’s a shot to speak with you:

There is no equal to the MICA-EM in terms of its it’s seeker and it’s flight performance honestly depending on how you value the agility of it’s thrust vectoring as a tradeoff to the range of traditional missiles (in my opinion it’s way more powerful to have less range and more agility because an enemy at those extreme ranges the MICA can’t hit has ages to react and easily defeat the missile, especially again due to the seeker disparity of those longer range missiles.) The issue is further compounded when you mount such a missile to basically the best overall platform in the game.

There was (is) no equal to the R-27ER in terms of datalink, IOG, seeker sensitivity/notch resistance, and kinematics. And it absolutely dominated the meta for a year and half(?) before the addition of fox3s dethroned it as the entirely uncontested best weapon in the game.

It’s very hard to accept the validity of “even with balanced IRCCM the kinematics of the missile will be so strong it will ruin the game” when A) an IR missile in a fox3 meta is already not that strong due to how much easier they are to defeat not to mention that it would be mounted on a platform with mediocre flight performance and less hardpoints than anything else at the tier, and B) massive balance disparities that are in my opinion far more egregious haven’t stopped gaijin in the past repeatedly

Also the introduction of the AIM-54 with no counterpart and no way to fight against it…

9l and the other soviet thing on 9.0 attackers

or the R-24R/T on the MLD…

Quite literally made top tier air rb unplayable for a few months
