Also its not like derby or even 12c5 are on par with r77-1 or mica
If thats the case f16i should be 13.7 or even 13.3 but worse it will just be a boring new plane with nothing new

Exactly, the IRCCM could be nerfed to be simple gatewidth as the Python 5 exists

Considering 90% of the coding and model already exists, it would be possible but I don’t think our community is nearly big or vocal enough to make a change for this patch.
Python 4s with Sufa this side of 2026 looks unlikely 😌

Well, I guess the devs have decided the sufa will be DOA for some reason… 14.0 is genuinely insane for an f-16 with mid flight performance and worse radar missiles

Its IRCCM is one factor, but not the only. The missiles performance is also a huge consideration.
Again, the only equal to this type of missle is RVV-MD. No other nation would have anything else similar until the next generation of missiles.

Also its not like python 4 is irist level it wont break the game it doesnt have insane accelertion and
R73 is still better in close df

I think the planes current implementation isn’t 14.0 material to be honest, a downtier to 13.7 or possibly even 13.3 (prob not) would probably be best in my unqualified opinion

While I do understand that its flight performance may be far superior to any missiles currently available for aircraft in game, it would be nice to get a proper test mode for said missiles to see how they play in actual air rb games as they often differ from the internal testing environments

theres valid converns of it being overpowered as it can pull as much as an R73 without flatspinning with twice the range

It could potentially be similar to giving the F-4C the AIM-9L when it was released however this is all speculation as we don’t actually know how the Python 4 would perform in game

I know it is basically guaranteed to not happen, but a dev server test for python 4s would probably help figure out if it’s performance is within the realm of just a meta advantage or actually unbalanced/OP, or even just straight up balanced when combined with 120cs and f-16 airframe thanks to the current fox-3 meta
