Friendly fire is something that has existed inside of the game for ages now, but remains so poorly done. Accidental or not, the victim always gets the harsher punishment compared to the small fee- yes, SMALL. That the person who team-killed has to pay. I have been team-killed 10 times in the span of under a week, and my 10th marks the time I was team-killed while doing my daily booster + 500 booster at once (550)+ only to realize that I was not given back the booster and was simply given a “Go blank yourself.” By Gaijin, kind reimbursement…
There can be many fixes to this, of course, including being harsher to prevent people from doing it to begin with.

Revamp Match Kick system
Accidental or not. If someone you team-killed does not apologize (the useless feature as of now) you should be kicked from the match on the first offense.
Do I think this is harsh? yes
Do I think people will not apologize to others the majority of the time? Also yes
Good. Maybe the harsh treatment will deter lots of people from being greedy and shooting their missiles wherever they see red(blue). Teamkilling should be punished whether its aciddental or not, and leaving that in the fate of who you teamkilled, I believe, is justified. Maybe even throw in a 10-20 minute crew lock and give that person some time to think about their actions. -
Teamkill penalties increased
Minimum of 100,000 Silverlions if you ask me; every rank should increase this amount by 25,000. Meaning, at rank IX, that should be a 325,000SL punishment if you teamkill- expensive, not too expensive, however. This money should go to either the victim or just Gaijin if you’re worried about people somehow learning to farm this. -
Remove Friendly fire
I don’t think we would like it if this became a thing; even I am hesitant to say that since friendly fire is, tbh, a part of War Thunder, but I’d rather have it be removed if no change to how teamkillers are handled -
Use these ideas
I feel like something is missing, so feel free to create something on your own based on these ideas, or at least use these ideas to actually make a fair system for both sides, because simply repairing our vehicle isn’t it, especially when teamkillers can make what they lose right back.
My apologies for english, it isn’t my first language
