Have you realized that on the CIS server you get a hell of matches on:

  1. Peleliu
  2. Guadalcanal
  3. Iwo Jima
  4. Saipan
  5. Midway
  6. New Guinea

Of my last 25 matches in the B7A2 16 (!!!) took place on those maps, just 2 ticket defeats. Mostly 6 vs 6 - 8 vs 8.

So in case you like them, select the CIS server in the BR range 3.7 - 4.0 in a JP aircraft.

I got the in-game reward for 200 wins on Guadalcanal today, was not even aware of that such an in-game challenge existed :-)

Have in mind that only the maps: 1,2 & 6 are actually balanced. The maps 3 & 4 have an auto ticket win implemented - for US & UK players. So if you are not able to locate and kill all US & UK aircraft you will lose by tickets after ~ 15 minutes on Saipan and max 25 minutes on Iwo Jima.

Map # 5 (Midway) has a large advantage for US/UK as the allied airfield on Eastern Island creates a 4 km death bubble; so you have to avoid any attacks on ticket bearing ground units there (or bomb them from safe altitude). Without warning your team you can easily lose two thirds of your team to the af aaa - experienced US/ UK players are fully aware of this.
But they can kill ticket bearing landing craft attacking Eastern Island whilst you as JP team either have to bomb the 3 cargo on ships on Sand Island or you have to kill an entire cluster of 3 x 6 late spawning landing craft if you can’t catch the last US/UK player.

I don’t want to go off topic but I do find the different servers differ in many ways.

Yeah, i’ve noticed it too playing 3.7 and 4.0 planes.
Feels like more than half of matches are big Pacific maps where it is a 6v6 or 8v8 despite finding matches in less than 5 seconds

Many are grinding Japan because of the R2Y2 FOMO. This isn’t a CIS server thing only.

I know this because i’m part of the problem, I stopped my F-15JM research at like 80% because I decided that I want Alpha Jet TH badly and then use it to research all those R2Y2s.

Most if not all my matches with the ki-96 and A7M2 were those maps you mentioned.

I’m playing on US servers, and I’ve ended up on pacific maps quite a lot all of a sudden, but only during the night. It’s probably just player counts aligning for pacific battles (high US+JP numbers).
