The SU-24M is the only Soviet aircraft capable of carrying guided bombs up to BR 13.0+, and it can carry just 7 bombs (or 5 if you take 2 air-to-air missiles with you(Р-60М)). It doesn’t even come close to the American AV-8B(NA), which has absolutely incredible performance for its BR (10 JDAMs + 2 AIM-9Ls + advanced RWR + thermal imaging).

After the update I think we can easily add on the list both f18. I’m especially baffled by the premium one, considering that the reason why the su 27 was put at 13.3 was that those datalink fox1 were so amazing, but the same standard isnt applied to the f18, that has that same armament but 0.6 br lower…

Overall I strongly agree with what you’re saying.
However, AIM-54 isn’t the same kind of a fox 3 as an AIM-120 or MICA, it’s a long range anti-bomber missile. It’s very heavy, not maneuverable and needs some space to start maneuvering. It doesn’t make fox 1s obsolete, unlike AIM-120. I would say F-14s can stay where they are or be moved up 0.3/0.4 br, especially since in many aspects F-14 is a gen 3.5 (mainly the A variant) and has some major limitations. They were never an issue before.
Fakours are a different story though, they are 13.3 material.

So now that i ve played a good while after the introduction of the f18 I can say that contrary to my earlier belief the addition of f18 made the game better because it reduced the nbumber of f14 in the game. However, every other point still stands: some russian planes need to be lowered to make it competitive, especially the su 27 (needs to go to 13.0 together with f18 1987) su 33 and su34.
Kfir c10 must be moved up together with Viggen: they both have very good flight models, good radars, and good fox3 missiles, amazing missiles in the case of the viggen. If mig29 smt is 13.3, than those planes should be as well.
Harriers should be moved up as well, I’d rather see them suffer at 13.3 than ruining lower BR. There are many harriers already enjoyable at other br in game, and this one here really doesnt mix well with the other planes in the bracket.
I am personally okay with the Aim120/Derby busses at 13.0. They have flight models that couldn’t survive 14.0. Both red and blue side have an fully active missle bus. I think having those placed into the sandbox gives players a small introduction to evading fully actives and still being rewarded with winning after the merge. The problematic planes can only carry 2 to 4 radar guided missles. So i dont think they are that bad. Personally i would like to continue to keep facing them.
Maybe a phantom couldnt survive the merge but the kfir sure can, it has a great flight model and very similar performance to a mig29 if not better, that plane for sure doesnt absolutely belong at 13.0. I did some dogfight in private with a friend and I can tell it can absolutely dogfight very well. Imho those planes should be moved up so we can still enjoy our fox1 only planes that right now are really sacrificed
