The massive sale of premium vehicles is causing more and more problems. There are matches at 10.3 (±) where 98% of the vehicles are premiums… Gaijin should sell talismans with Silver Lion bonuses to avoid the overpopulation of premium tanks.
In this way, premium vehicles would add bonuses in titles, Golden Eagles, or cosmetics, in addition to the bonuses in research points and Silver Lions. Meanwhile, “premium talismans” would only grant the latter bonuses.
I think the possibility of “converting” tech tree vehicles into premium vehicles would bring more diversity to the matches… Right now, playing between 9.3 and 11.3 really sucks.
The poor game economy (although it has improved, it’s still bad compared to previous years) along with silverlion bets boxes (insane betting event) and the number of premium vehicles, make more and more players attracted to premium lineups. However, many of these players have only one or two premium vehicles and then leave the match, ruining games repeatedly.

Today’s game economy is the best in its history.
Yes, 2016 War Thunder economy was worse than today’s.
A premium talisman would be 7000+ GE, so honestly no on that and it’s over-monetizing.

What makes you think Gaijin would not want to manipulate everything it can to induce selling as many premium vehicles as it can?
Premium vehicle rewards have nothing to do with the conduct of games and how players choose to stay in games. The new players who bought “packs” that are mostly accused of causing “one death leaving”, will not have any high tier vehicles, premium or otherwise. They have a bunch of low tier stuff that is useless.

honestly, it would end a hostality in game chat.
You would be able to have “premium vehicle” with that talisman, and you would not be called “premium noob” or “wallet warrior” by sweats in game.

You’re wrong. it used to be better, because the calculation of the amount of silver and research points was tied to your actions (kills, assists, etc), now it depends on your life time. You can destroy, for example), 5 opponents in 2 minutes, die and end up with 5k rp. Or you can do 2 kills, live for 6 minutes and get the same amount of experience. It’s all stupid, encourages you to play not efficiently, but as stealthy as possible, fearing for your life

Next time I go into an arcade game called War Thunder, I’ll think about what it’s like in the real world
Well, maybe you should try GRB instead of acrade
Oya Oya, the snail must be paying you handsomly, tovaritsch

You are factually correct, but you are then not taking into account the amount of RP it now takes to get to top tier compared to previously.
Even if the amount of RP/SL you gain (per game) now is more than before, there is even more vehicles to unlock comparatively to the increase.
The amount of percentual progression you make towards top tier per RP gained is less now than before. Even though the time to get to, let say, rank 4, is shorter than ever before, the time it takes to get to the end of the tech tree is much much longer than before (and total SL cost is also way bigger).
So the idea of making a “premium vehicle” converter for normal tech tree vehicles isn’t actually that bad. They just need to price it comparatively to the current premiums prices and current talismans. The premiums would still give an advantage in progression as you don’t need to unlock the vehicle beforehand and can thus skip multiple ranks, you also usually get extra GE and a few weeks of premium account on top of that.
so just straight converting the cost to be the same as the equivalent of current premiums wouldn’t be fair compared to what you get. The absolute biggest advantage of premium vehicles is arguably the skipping of tiers (which a “premium conversion talisman” would not get at all) and economic boost to tiers below it (which a “premium conversion talisman” would not benefit as strongly from as you have to research your way to that vehicle first thus gaining you less NET gain).
not only that, the only difference to regular talismans would be a boost to SL and removing the penalty for lower vehicles.

I expected no less from you.
At least my assumption is well-founded. I invite you to enter the game and check it out for yourself.
Exactly, and in terms of “profits,” I’m sure it would be more convenient for Gaijin because currently, the main way to monetize the tech tree vehicles they add is through premium vehicles.
The problem is that these premium vehicles are usually prototypes, and what ends up happening in a “normal” game is that you encounter ten prototypes and two production vehicles, when the ratio should be the other way around. The situation worsens in the lower tiers, where premium vehicles are cheaper.
The amount of Silver Lions (SL) required has never been this high, and despite the economy improving in the last year, it is still far from the golden years when tier V was the maximum. I don’t want to overlook the issue of the “pinatas,” where for 60k SL, you can get a prize. This has generally made the need for SL much greater than it already was, forcing players to play exclusively premium lineups.
In short, with “premium talismans,” we could have much more varied premium lineups, and it wouldn’t ruin the game at all. On the contrary, we would have variety.
SL is not tied to your life time outside simulator and heli PVE.
RB and AB use the actions method.
RP is the only thing that’s time based, and reaching its cap is almost impossible outside sim and heli PVE.

Weird of you to claim that Gaijin pays all the critics of War Thunder…
I suppose he’s referring to the benefits of having a premium account, but that’s not the issue being discussed here.
lol. Only in your own mind.
All you are doing is a “Gimmiedat”. An Americanism for feeling entitled to something for no real reason other than you want and would personally benefit from it.
In my case, it’s not just me who benefits; I think I made that clear.
However, in your case, it wasn’t clear how my position harms you, Gaijin, or the players and the games.
Therefore, your only arguments were an “Americanism” that no one cares about.
It seems we have a typical case of a “compulsive troll” here.
Your “position” here is ridiculously unrealistic. It shows you really don’t understand how the game “economy” works. All you want is to buff your pay-to-win.
Yeah, I didn’t expect you to have a good counter-argument other than to resort to childish name calling.
it’s not a “Gimmiedat” if the idea is to implement something that will cost you money to obtain.
It will impact the rest of the player base in exactly the same way no matter the tech tree/playstyle/whatever.
i fail to se how the idea would be a negative impact in any way.

Alternatively, there could be a choice between an SL talisman, or an RP talisman. Talismans are kinda useless if you already have every vehicle in a tree, so adding an SL one would make sense.

It will increase the disparity between FTP and PTW players. It will disincentivize buying GE and pack premium vehicles (which is why Gaijin would never do this).
