F15A doesn’t have similar missiles, 27ER are on a tier of their own, see how many people take any Sparrows over AMRAAM like the flankers do with 27ER at 14.3? Flankers deserve to be 0.3 BR above any Sparrow slinger, specially with the recent FM buffs.
Taking inferior missiles to the R-77-1 is a choice people are well within their right to make.
Ad populum fallacies are not valid arguments for a reason.
The FM buffs didn’t change the fact that F-15A’s FM is notably superior to Su-27’s.

EDIT: R-27ER (and R-27ET) can still make your life miserable at top tier. Sparrow? Not so much

No, and it’s not a stat I care about cause R-27ER is inferior to R-77-1 in all aspects except one use-case: Long range BVR with hard-lock.
They are only inferior because it’s SARH vs ARH (which how good people are at notching nowadays, you’re far more likely to get killed by SARH and ARH in a 1v1), however, the missile itself is much much better ballistically than any ARH in the game and there are many kills than only an 27ER can pull. I think you just don’t have the experience with mutliple missiles in the game to make an informed argument. At closer ranges, the 27ER benefits far outweight any negatives compare to any of the ARH we have in game.
According to reviewers, that changed in the latest patch. But even without SU27 buffs, in 16vs16 battles your FM rarely matters unless it’s way below average like say a Hornet; 13.0 and up is mostly BVR and the far end of WVR. Sparrows are outclassed at 13.0 while 27ER remain super effective at every single BR we have in the game.

Decompression would maybe fix the issue with F-2A ADTW, but I don’t see a major BR changes happening soon, and even if it did, then the issue would still persist, but slighly less.
Honestly I’d prefer giving it AAM-4 and placing it at 13.7 or whatever.
Wouldn’t be the first time premium vehicle is the same as the tech tree vehicle (JA37DI and JA37DI F21)

But I don’t see it being an issue, because if any BR changes happen, I’m pretty sure Su-30MKK/MK2 will join 13.7 as well.
Imo F-2A is fine at 13.0. It is pretty much just better F-15A, and only aircraft that is probably better (but only for Air RB scenarios) is Su-27 and Su-33 just becasue R-27ER is an amazing missile. They both still suffer in uptiers because of very outdated radar, SPO-15 or whole ass 48 countermeasures.
It’s not. You barely get any downtiers, because so much people play top tier. Most of the time you are playing against ARH slingers. You can’t fly high, even if you tried, because it doesn’t give you any real advantage, you will be notching missiles till you’re out of chaffs and then you die, because you can’t defend yourself with AIM-7. You gotta stay low and pray for a furball to use the AAM-3 effectively. Some games I played I don’t even get to shoot a missile, because everything plays out at high altitude with ARH missiles
This is not a unique situation. As i said, there is Su-27, Su-33, F-15A at 13.0 and they all aren’t ARH slingers. And F-2A in many ways is better than every single aircraft that i mentioned. You have AESA radar with generous scan zone that gives you amazing situational awareness, you have more than enougs countermeasures to last you to the end of the match if used correctly, alongside fully digital RWR with better detection angles than Su-33. AAM-3s also better than 9Ms on F-15A. The only real downside is Sparrows, but Sparrow is only bad because R-27ER is absolutely amazing (and truth be told, ER is not infallible, it can be countered reliably).
I agree, it’s not only F-2A ADTW that suffers in this BR bracket, but atleast F-2A ADTW is fixable in other way than tweaking the Battle Ratings. There’s nothing “major” you can add to Su-27, Su-33 or F-15A to make them suffer less.

Performance isn’t based out of premium status, you’re suffering from compression and power creep. The Su-30 premiums for example. They shouldn’t be 13.3, it’s the most blatant addition of Russian bias when jets from 2015 are fighting jets from the 1970’s.
It’s already fighting F-4S’ and shouldn’t be even lower. The F16 platform shouldn’t be fighting MiG-23’s…
Overall, statistics say this jet isn’t suffering.
