Let Britain have good stuff, Britain doesn’t exactly have the best stuff. So what, Britain gets a T-90, MiG 29, Mirage III (which should already be there anyways for South Africa), and Rafale. Italy gets every major good plane: F-16, MiGs, Eurofighter, and Grippen. China gets Mirage, F-16, and Su-27s. Germany gets AIM 120 Phantom, MiGs, and Eurofighter. So obviously copy and paste is not the issue here.
Britain does have good stuff though.
We have the best Typhoon.
The Tornado F3 is awesome these days ( especially if they unnerf it)
and the best mud movers (if they unnerf them)
Also India adds nothing for ground to augment the Challenger 2 (which again would be fine if they unnerfed them)
If you want to play Tonkas, harriers, Jags, Typhoons in air and Centurions, Cheiftains, CR1s and CR2s in ground then play Britain.
if you want to play T-90s, Mig-21, Su-30s, etc, play the soviets
If you want to play the Rafale play France.
Simple.
Israel and India are military partners and closely interact with one another. Israel is India’s second largest partner behind Russia as well.
Israel is also vital to India’s current existence and ensured their victories over Pakistan during those wars.
Best Typhoon, but need I remind you on the rest of Rank VIII, or the Phantoms, or the Harriers, or the Vampire and Venom?
But no formal military pact.
They are just selling then weapons and upgrading already existing ones?
Lets look at rank 8.
Tornado Gr1 is a half decent mud mover, that is artificially nerfed (mk101 engines, no BOL, over BRed, placeholder FM, No ECM) would be awesome at full strength
Tornado F3 is one of the strongest 12.0s at the moment despite the fact its quite badly artificially nerfed at the moment (BOL, No Phimat, placeholder FM)
Harrier Gr7 is a powerhouse sub-sonic dogfighter that routinely beats F-16s, which again, is quite badly nerfed at the moment. (BOL, nerfed FM, heat sig issues, loadout)
Tornado GR4 is a rather awesome mud mover with near infinite flares and chaff at the moment, jsut a tad shame its crippled (No FnF Brimstone, BOL, No ASRAAM, No ECM, placeholder FM)
Sea Harrier FA2 should be quite a fun AMRAAM slinger but again, has quite major nerfs (BOL, Nerfed FM, heat sig issues, cockpit issues, loadout issues)
Tornado F3 Late should be a very good 13.0 and should be able to hold its own even at 13.7 if it had better loadout options like Aim-120C5s, but it too is nerfed (BOL, placeholder FM, No Phimat, no ASRAAM, no TRD)
Gripen C should be quite decent despite the R-Darter nerf, but the Gripen Cs are so badly handicapped and missing so much, they arent worthy even being called the Gripen C at the moment
Looking below, Bucs are rather awesome, F-111C is apparently fairly solid, Jaguar GR1A is rather good for the 10.7, might be a tad over BRed and should get its better RWR but otherwise rather solid. Sea Harrier FRS1 should be an awesome aircraft but has the harrier nerfs and also misisng loads like EEGS. Phantoms are over BRed or need loadout buffs.
TLDR: We have an awesome Rank VII and VIII line-up, just need gaijin to stop artificially nerfing everything. Literally not a single Rank VIII or VII that doesnt have major nerfs which have been awaiting fixes for years.
TLDR but in 2 words: Fix BOL
The easiest choice to me from all the arguments I’ve seen here is to divide up all the vehicles between the different import countries. British export Indian vehicles go to UK, French exports go to France. Israeli exports go to Israel. Russian exports go to Russia.
This solves some of the concerns people have that India does not have enough unique vehicles to fill its own tree while also satisfying current WT users for the interesting export vehicles they’d like to see in their trees.
I like my Typhoon, and I love the Grippen, not a fan of Tornadoes, and the Sea Harriers and generic Harrier are not that good. I would rather use the Italian AV-8 or the American one.
I mean if you want better aircraft for that area the UK itself used Canadairs Sabres, and ZA as well. (Giving them 3 possible Sabres. (UK)Mk 2, Mk 4, (ZA)Mk 6.
Well South Africa still has a number of aircraft it has that should be taken advantage of. I may disagree with the fact the ZA is a sub-tree and reather them spun out as well, they have been here long enough that they should be taken advantage of.
I do feel like half the people wanting India in Britain just want to avoid having to grind multiple TTs
With Britain, India and South Africa in a single TT we can have
- The best Typhoon
- The best SU-30
- The best Rafale
- A Gripen C
- A Whole host of different aircraft from Tonkas and Harriers, to Migs and onto Mirages of various kinds. If we throw in a few Canadian stuff as well, perhaps also an F-18.
Just seems like you might as well get rid of the TT system altogether at this rate
So play the Italian TT then.
You have the Typhoon, Gripen and AV-8B+.
I dont see why that means we need Su-30s, Mig-29s, Mig-21s and Rafales in our TT just because people grinded a tree and didnt like the British aircraft in it.
South Africa is like the one true sub tree since it isn’t generic copy paste like Holland is to France or Finland is to Sweden. It deserves the Cheetah, it’ll probably be the only good Rank VIII vehicle for fighting.
That is mostly what i saw too, i agree.
Anyway India should have been it’s own tree even if it was lot of copypaste just for how big the market that india is.
If we get Russian stuff, then we can prove Russian bias exists. I mean, they nerf Britain every update, so why not take advantage of something that avoids nerfs
Maybe, would still rather just get the British stuff unnerfed than to be forced to play aircraft I really have no interest in
Well that’s because War Thunder is a line-up based game is far better then being ripped apart.
As any Aussie or Canadian about their current treatment and they’ll make it very clear how unhappy they are.
Yeah, but we dont exactly have much Indian stuff yet anyway, so better to pull the plug early. OSA and Strela werent suppose to be added, so then it would have been the T-90 and Mig-21 which could have been replaced with better.
South Africa wasn’t a good sub-tree either. They all failed from day one.
A. It was unneeded (as both nations had more then enough and didn’t need each other and could have been separate TTs)
B. It only existed because Gaijin realize they can use it to nerf the UK.
Take a look at the CVRTs. The Fox proved UKs domestic lights where good, so they made it’s family members as bad as possible.
India-Israel Defense and Security Cooperation – The Diplomat
Israel and India have security cooperation and have openly stated that they will assist one another.
Let alone things like the Bosvark and ZA-35 coming at BRs where we already had SPAA and we still have nothing inbetween
