If JM33 is that much of a pain to deal out damage at 11.3-7 then it needs to be changed so it stays at a higher BR where it belongs. But dropping it down a full tier to fill matches is just absurd.
BUT. THE. SAME. THING. HAPPENS. TO. THE. TYPE.
90!!!
Its 11.0! Its not 10.3! It DOESNT drop to 10.3 and only fight other 10.3s as an 11.0! IT FIGHTS OTHER 11.0S!
And IT GETS UPTIERED JUST AS OFTEN TO 11.7!
Where its apparently amazeballs 481mm of pen which I remind you yet again is the LOWEST PENETRATING DART AT ITS 11.0 BR now has to fight Leopard 2A6s and T-80BVMs! You know, with a dart that has penetration so low that I can bring up DOZENS of examples of tanks a full 1.0 or LOWER in BR below it that have more penetration. Yet its just THAT ONE ROUND you are fixated on.
What are you even complaining about? That a tank that sacrifices EVERYTHING in return for ONE SINGULAR strong point about it is allowed to use that strong point? AND ITS HISTORICAL AS WELL FFS. Why are you not complaining about the 10.0 2S38 which has like a 1 second reload? Or the HSTVL with similar?
How about I tell you about the 30+ seconds it takes to reload just one shell into its ready rack after you’ve bounced half your rounds off yet another russian MBT because you again, have the literal worst round at 11.0.
I have np clue what the BRs have been for my nukes in the 2A4 so i have no clue how you can make that judgement.
But it also has no real bearin on my 2A4 comments
The point of an uptier is that the higher BR vehicles will always have it easier, not that it is completely impossible to perform. I’d say if it is possible to do this in a 2A4 that means the 2A4 is balances well and can hold it’s own in an uptier, disagvantage.
Thing is, it isn’t. Neither is DM23. The game always puts you at a disadvantage in an uptier, and an advantage in a downtier. There is no “stay at one tier” since battles are fought at br ranges of 1. So in a battle you have lineups uf the BRs (for example):
- 10.0 (fully uptiered)
- 10.3 (uptiered)
- 10.7 (slightly uptiuered)
- 11.0 (downtiered)
Note how in this battle 11.0 is the strongest. 10.0 can still deal with them, just not as efficiently. However in this scenario 11.0 is limited to a count of 4 players to compensate, which is why I highly doubt your figure of 4 Japan players when there is so many more popular nations.
“I have np clue what the BRs have been for my nukes in the 2A4 so i have no clue how you can make that judgement.”
Because you wouldn’t have survived facing Japan at 11.0 long enough to drop a nuke
“But it also has no real bearin on my 2A4 comments”
Yes it does, you dont have to be a genius or vehicle expert to use the A4 it entirely depends on what nations on your team and what nation your enemy is. Doesn’t mean you know how to use German A4, and what Germany faces because Sweden teams do not perform the same as german teams.
I have dropped more nukes uptiered in my Strv 121 and finnish leo 2A4 than when downtiered. some of these against japan
Getting uptiered just forces you to play better so learn to adapt or die japanese tanks are still easy to counter
“However in this scenario 11.0 is limited to a count of 4 players to compensate, which is why I highly doubt your figure of 4 Japan players when there is so many more popular nations.”
I do not know where you got that total number of uptiered players but I have for a fact faced 4 Japanese 11.0s in one match before.
Of course uptiers are going to have it easier but 4 second reload easy for something that pens ALL nations 10.3s? Again. Absurd.
I do not believe that. Japan is paired with USA. To claim you drop nukes uptiered against Japan with USA CAS is just not true.
It also gets penned by all nation 10.3s, and is uptiered to 11.7 where it struggles to pen. This is want uptieres are, the Type 90 is no special case with that.
That would be judging lineups and teams, not the vehicle itself.
I would use the 2A4 the same regardless of what nations om paired with or fighting. And id deal with the armor of uptiers the exact same way.
Thats not true actually. There is plenty an A4 cannot pen, type 90s dont just drive out in the open.
Hull down good luck. Most of these players knock your breech out and push you.
The performance of a vehicle depends on the team itself when it comes to Germany. That is the entire doctrine of the A4 and how it was designed. You can try to use the German A4 against other nations but you won’t live long enough to drop a nuke especially when your often faced off with USA.
Im sure its plenty easy to drop a nuke on the swedish tech tree though.
Plenty? Your Type 90 example show only the turret cheeks, the area no sane plaver ever shoots. Everythif else can be penned.
As for the Type 10, that sacrifices a bit of mobility for morearmor in the UFP armor, same thig with a slight tradeoff.
The way these are right now is qith slightly above average mobility and good reload, in exchange for worse armor, gun handling and pen compared to other 11.0 tanks. Seems fair to me.
Also maybe compare 11.0 to 11.0, since the 10.0 2A4 having such an easy time penning the Type 90 warks angainst your point.
As you pointed out earlier, I am a japan main.
Japan gets matched with and against every nation equally.
Its also rare to see more than 1-2 japanese players on one team. Usually I am the only person on my team playing japan.
A game won or lost is very rarely won or lost due to the actions of those few japan players alone.
“Plenty? Your Type 90 example show only the turret cheeks, the area no sane plaver ever shoots. Everythif else can be penned.”
Its funny you say that, because the A4 turret cheeks can be penned with JM33. Something “sane” japan players do that all day.
Just because it shows how easy it can be penned doesn’t mean japan just LETS you shoot at them freebird style. They are very aware how weak their tank is and more often than not I get trash bounces and non pens.
“Its also rare to see more than 1-2 japanese players on one team. Usually I am the only person on my team playing japan.”
Rare but not impossible. The fact it happened is a problem.
That again is talking about judging the team/line-up and so on. Im talking about the vehicle, how it performs and the tools at its disposal
11.0 shell can pen 10.3 tank? WOAH! Nippon so strong…
Well you dont seem to grasp the concept of how outcomes are not solely dependent on one tank. There are factors that affect the performance of a vehicle during a match. It is not a cakewalk where everyone just drives out in the open letting you kill them for a nuke.
