Please Give Us Back the Original Panther II, Flakpanzer 341 "Coelian," and Tiger II 10.5cm KwK

I have to point out that I have settled down a bit since then. The fantasies are still there as a final straw, but I agree with you that this issue has to be solved in more peaceful and humane ways. On the other hand I have little faith in Gaijin to listen to us and change their mind. Just look at that whole review incident that had to take place for the Gaijin people to react to the Community. And even then they had made some very bad statements.

I doubt we can pull off anything like it, and it has been already 5/5.5 years since the removal, without any improvements or Hope.

As long as they remain just that - fantasies.
I agree that Gaijin changing their mind doesn’t seem likely at the moment, but what more can we do than give continued feedback in places where they will (hopefully) see it?

Feedback in places where Gaijin will see it?
I would hazard a guess that user reviews on Steam is the best option :-)

Perhaps for the Panther II, as it could become the historical 75mm version? Though I’d personally like it kept as it is now, simply because I love the concept and look of a Schmalturm’d, 88mm-armed Panther crowned with a big ol’ WW2 night vision device :)

As for the Tiger II 105, there’s not much you can do to ‘historicalise’ it without turning it back into a Tiger II H. The engine, gun and rangefinder were all proposed but didn’t end up being much more than that.
(Again, I believe its existence in the game doesn’t hurt the game itself).

And the Coelian - I’m only familiar with the project on a surface level, but I imagine it’s already in the most accurate form possible when compared to the plans and wooden mock-up. I’m open to correction from anyone more informed on the subject.

By the way, thanks for sending me down that rabbit hole on the CV 90105 TML. It’s pretty interesting to me that they completely changed a tank’s model and characteristics instead of adding a separate, ‘improved’ version.

i think it was this one?

Panther II with anime body pillows could be historical accurate. 🤓

Same, I like it the way it is in WT.

Stona didn’t say anything against for purchase tho 🤔🤔🤔

Don’t give me hope. I would shell out an unreasonable amount of money to have those three.

(And I imagine I’m not alone. Hint hint, Gaijin…)

How about this

When the 12 Tech Tree vehicles of Rank IV have all been researched and purchased, the three German Tanks get unlocked, but for a price. Players who are uninterested can just hide them and return their Tech Tree to normal. Cannot add a corresponding Icon right now, it is nearly 1:30 am and I need to get up at 6:00 am.

The current Panther II adds a lot to to the German tree, which is part of why I want it so bad… so I agree the current form is awesome, but the true Panther II would be nice.

Coelian was a completed hull with full scale mock up turret, its more real than its replacement Ostwind II, which is quite funny.

105 Tiger is exactly the kind of tank I would want at its BR, but also the tank I know the least about… is there really no “true” form for it?

And you are welcome, it was quite a good change IMO, well done on gaijins part. It actually made the tank much better. The Italian M60 also had a similar treatment, and its fun now, at 8.0 the M60 armor actually works quite well and the gun is of course great.

I wouldn’t say it’s as logical a way to return them as others we’ve discussed, and I can see backlash happening for making tech-tree vehicles premium.
Though personally, I’d be happy to see them available in any form.

Agreed. In a perfect world, we’d have both.

So, the Tiger II: the most in-depth source I can find on it is Germany’s Tiger Tanks: VK45.02 to Tiger II: Design, Production & Modifications by Thomas Jentz and Hilary Doyle. Here’s a link to an open-source PDF if you’re interested: https://porschecarshistory.com/wp-content/old/biblio/60/Germany,s%20Tiger%20tanks%20-%20VK45.02%20to%20Tiger%20II.pdf (Search the website’s name with the book’s title if you don’t want to risk clicking random links).

Basically, the upgrades it has over the regular Tiger II H are a number of proposals that didn’t make it to production. The book explains it pretty well, starting from page 144 (or 139 of the PDF).

Still unsure why gaijin doesn’t want to make them marketplace vehicles, perhaps we should try to get a statement on that?

Very cool, thanks a lot. Gonna go through this whole thing.

I just realized, It’s been 5 long years since those vehicles have been removed. Wow. Time does really fly doesn’t it? I’d say the 5 year anniversary of their removal marks an awesome opportunity to bring 'em back, even only for purchase, i would pay a lot to get those beauties!

look at this…people who already have em don’t want it back…
i think they should bring them back for veteran players only(old guard)

We should be a classless Community in my opinion.
