Reasoning: With the naval aiming system changes in arcade battles making it function more like an ‘aimbot,’ this vessel should receive a BR increase. Along with its 37mm autocannons, it mounts a large-caliber cannons with slow traverse - a drawback negated by the new aiming system - it demonstrates exceptional survivability and can dismantle other patrol boats effortlessly. Currently overperforming, it becomes virtually unstoppable when deployed by a coordinated four-player squadron.
Mode: Naval Arcade & Realistic Battles
Ship: MPK-163
Change: 2.0 → 2.3
Reasoning: With its exceptionally powerful armament (85mm main gun and 37mm autocannon), this vessel overperforms at its 2.0 BR. I’ve consistently observed it performing effectively even in 2.3-3.3 matches. Combined with the new naval aiming system, it can effortlessly dismantle other patrol boats.
Scharnhorst is a very capable ship, lending herself well to angling and a rushing gameplay style, she is more than capable of tussling and with her more accurate guns penetrations of her only weakspot is hard. Her players do have to be aware of fires and she’s not the beast she once was, but she is still more than potent against all but 16" ships. She should not be lower than British 8 x 15" ships that are not Vanguard nor should she be the same br as Strasbourg that is straight up insulting to French players same applies for RN Duilio and Conti. If she doesn’t go up, then others that I have named shouldn’t either. Perhaps she might need shifting down later.

I use it as silver lion farm, while being bad at naval, does it change anything a.k.a will it face stronger ships
Hold on, I just realized something… with Naval max BR increasing to 8.7 (by new BBs). Does this means we can take helicopters in naval battles now (well, then update is out)?
(I know how useless 8.7 and below helies, Im just thinking of possibility of doing so)
I have mixed emotions on Kronshtadt, her shells are nuts, her accuracy for whatever delusional reason is very good though so she can fight accurately at range. I remember several fights in British 15" ships where at 12km I haven’t been able to hit her due to straddles, constantly.
But her armour really isn’t good. Maybe she can stay at 7.3 for now and then move to 7.7 if need-be.
All of the ships it normally fights are moving up too, however some cruisers are not moving up, indeed some are moving down, but you still have RoF advantage, you’re a small profile its okay still, I’d suggest its about as good as it was, maybe slightly worse.

We just wanted to note that the planned changes are only for Bluewater Fleet. At the time being, please focus feedback on this matter as we are not currently planning changes for costal at this time and wish to collect feedback spesifically on the Bluewater changes.

Costal reviews will take place as per the normal BR updates. But for now its just Bluewater with the large scale planned changes.
The air changes are super lame, their weapons can barely even scratch the new ships! There is no reason for them to be moved up >:C

Gneisenau is still 7.7 on the dev server, right? So, you’re suggesting Scharnhorst should be same BR as Gneisenau, even though Scharnhorst will have smaller main guns?
Since I’m not supposed to post BR change feedback for coastal boats in this thread, I’ll hold off on that until the next regular BR changes thread.

Ship: USS Aylwin
Change: Keep it 4.0 (3.7 → 4.0)
Reasoning: With other destroyers in its BR range being moved up, there’s no reason for Aylwin to be lowered as well. She has extremely strong firepower for her battle rating. If placed at 3.7, she would easily eat coastal vessels like snacks.
when will you fix the armor bug of the ISE and draft of FUSO? these have been confirmed years ago and nothing fixed at all
Scharnhorst will have 3 more guns, which compensates, Scharnhorst also has a faster reload of 17 seconds to Gneisenau’s I think 22. Scharnhorst will have more accurate guns, Scharnhorst can also play around her guns by closing distance, which is made easier as she is one of the fastest high tier ships, and is designed to be a brawler, the closer she gets the better her armour to a point. If its an issue that they are the same BR Gneisenau could always go up… Her armour would potentially be stronger than Bismarcks.
Even if those factors did not exist, sometimes ships have to be bad so every other ship can be good. How is a Bretagne, Kongo, Kirishima, Strasbourg going to deal with a team of Scharnhorsts.
As I said, better to start her there and move her down, than to move her up which we’ve been waiting for for 3 years.
More chances to hit a target means more chances to detonate ammo or disable modules. Gneisenau wont suffer from the reduction in number of shells with her faster rate of fire like other ships. But outside of a few examples at the ranges we play at the 11s on Scharnhorst are enough to penetrate turret faces and penetrate barbette armour.
Should definetly be at 7.7.
Anything that stays put is likely to have an easier time, see all the 4.0 that are moving to 4.3
