Planned Naval Battle Ratings Decompression

I don’t know. Just asking :-)

We have 4 ships from the same family.
Pr.7 - Besposhchadny (BR 4.0), Ryany (BR 4.0 → 4.3)
Pr.7U - Soobrazitelny (BR 4.3 → 4.7), Stroyny (BR 4.3 → 4.7)
The Ryany is the weakest. Did you forget about higher BR for the Besposhchadny?

Why the HMCS Haida has Rank III but the HMS Mohawk has only Rank II?

Heavy Cruisers hardly have a stand in Naval Arcade and should not go up / not that much; they are free RP for BB and the way it currently works are also not a major threat for later light cruisers and DD.

  • USS New Orleans - stay at 5.7 (free RP for BB and the way it currently works are also not a major threat for later light cruisers and DD)
  • USS Pittsburgh - stay at 5.7 (free RP for BB and the way it currently works are also not a major threat for later light cruisers and DD)
  • USS Baltimore - stay at 5.7 (free RP for BB and the way it currently works are also not a major threat for later light cruisers and DD)
  • USS Des Moines - stay at 6.3 (free RP for BB)
  • USS Newport News - stay at 6.3 (free RP for BB)

OMG, finally!! 🫡

Sovetsky Soyuz - change 8.3 to 8.7

would also say USS New Orleans - stay at 5,7 in realistic
For me its a side grade to Northampton/Portland/Pensacola after recent gun nerfs.
It does get some armor on turrets and some better ammo placement. But no armor on the bridge which is a big issue. It just suffers a lot from being higher with worse muzzle velocity and 0 plating on the bridge. But since Pitt and Baltimore are going 6,3, 6,0 isnt end of the world.
Im not sure about current 5,7 heavy italians since i didnt play them but they never seemed strong either.

As for the glass cannon Des Moines Im not sure but Pittsburgh and Baltimore definetly need to be higher br than New Orleans since they are better in every single aspect u can imagine.

Vehicle: Mig21PFM
Gamemode: Naval Arcade
BR Change: 8.7 -----> 9.7

Reason: Doesn’t anyone remember this plane? Supersonic, IR AAM, AGM. There is no reason for it to remain at 8.7.

Vehicle: Mig21S
Gamemode: Naval Arcade
BR Change: 9.0 -----> 9.7

Reason: Doesn’t anyone remember this plane? Supersonic, IR AAM. There is no reason for it to remain at 9.0.

Vehicle: FJ4B
Gamemode: Naval Realistic
BR Change: 9.3 -----> 8.7

Reason: FJ4B and FJ4B VMF-232 have essential differences. It has neither AGM12 nor CCIP or CCRP. Therefore, in RB mode, it can definitely remain at 8.7.

Bit weird how cruisers go up, but early battleships loke coubert stay the same?

So Rn Zara now same br as Coubert?

Why is the HMS Iron Duke only going up to 7.0 when it can ammorack a 8.7 Yamato 15 km away?

Wait why did bretagne get a br increase? Dunkerque i dont get either, strasbourg yes. But to 7.3?

The angle of the shells during the trajectory would not be that flat at 15km

Prinz Eugen stays 5.7
Admiral Hipper 5.7 to 6.0
Scharnhorst from 7.3 to 7.7
HMS southampton stay 5.7
HMS belfast stays 5.7

naval is already so painful and grindy not easy to get kills and takes a lot of time
main reason Prinz Eugen only ship make grinding faster at its br at higher BR I see no point of using it will get killed by stronger ships so fast and make grinding boring.

I support it 100%

All modes:
Texas → Keep VI level unchanged or reduce to 6.7, slow loading leads to slow kill efficiency, and the position of the V-level line will require you to develop the entire line below Texas after completing development in Alaska, Tennessee, and Nevada

Imperatority Mariya → 6.7-7.0, she achieved a significant increase in firing rate, from 1.8 per minute per round to 3 per minute per round, and she had a whopping 12 main guns. Her SAP ammunition was very powerful, which was fatal for subsequent cruisers ascending BR

Tennessee → 7.0-7.3, slow loading, low quality of ammunition charge

Colorado → 7.0 → 7.3, slow loading, unstable projectile movement, low number of main guns

How in the hell are the Prinz Eugen and Admiral Hipper still at 5.7? These two are the some of the best heavy cruisers in their BR with very effective guns and armour at long range, and you’re simply going to let them waltz over anything that’s 4.7-5.3?

Solution:

Admiral Hipper and Prinz Eugen → 6.0 or 6.3

Thank you for adding a like to my Des Moines suggestion too 👍 I have hidden this post behind a spoiler to save space on the thread. Cheers! 🍻

Heya fren, it’s helpful to search for previous posts that cover the same vehicles and add likes there. Making duplicate posts and spreading out likes lowers the odds of the duplicate suggestions being used by the devs 👍

My Des Moines / Newport News suggestion to stay at same BR: Planned Naval Battle Ratings Decompression - #97 by SilentTracker

Quote from my suggestion post
Des Moines search results in this topic already

This this this. Scharnhorst should be 7.7 to 8.0

Because they are massive XP sink for an otherwise largely identical ships. Nobody wanted to grind the ship that played exactly the same three times just to advance in the tech tree.

me when i have a stroke and dont know how to spell etendard

as to BR’s, most of them make sense to me, i genuinely like to see stuff go up then go down, and there is a lot of red (good) in this br brackets so thats nice, also potential 5.0 french lineup is nice to see.

Also since mogador will be 5.0 now, it would make sense to put it below the jeanne d’arc which is 4.7

also i would love to see some coastal BR changes, having stuff like albatros/bussard and mpk pr.204 be the same br as stuff as la combattante is outright hilarious, also when we are gonna see new more modern coastal boats? i thought we would see something in this so called “naval focused” update, but we got 2 tech tree coast bote (with only the british one being interesting) and another french 1.0 premium (for some reason)

They’ll get significant buff on survivability by able to empty upper shell room and magazine.

Offered just as a review aid, all bluewater ships, sorted by BR, with the change proposed in the right column and their K/Ds for May (courtesy Statshark) for AB and RB (note: far right column should read “proposed change in BR steps (RB)”):

Lot going on there, and it’s only one stat and one month, but still it’s a pretty important stat. A lot of US ships going up more than last month’s K/d stats would seem to dictate, in particular. Possibly making assumptions based on more aircraft (so better US AA makes more of a difference) plus the planned damage model changes to reduce ammo racking?
