Fuso should be 7.3

they nerfed her hard she floods fast and explodes from a single fire if your unlucky cause sometimes theyll detonate before they exstiguish and guns have very low explosive mass so damage is low hence why shes 7.3 like alaska or Kronshtadt

6.0 american cruisers can clown on admiral hipper all day faster reload and ammo racks never 1 tap while on admiral hipper or prinz eugen you can easily one tap ammo

15 inch guns do way more damage than 283mms and can easily cause fires causing a ammo explosion

I had a bit of fun on hte Dev Server with 2000lb and 1000kg bombs - they work just fine still

Ship: USS Aylwin

Change: 4.0 → 4.3

For all intent and purposes, USS Aylwin is basically a 4-turreted Fletcher-class with less protection in terms of gameplay, and they shouldn’t be lowered to fight reserve DD with either worse gun count or shell quality, or both.

Problem is, there’s no need to ammorack her if you can simply melt her crews by spamming 5-inch shells at her secondaries. Her 305 mm isn’t that good against DD either, since it has awful dispersion, and if it does somehow hit them, they doesn’t deal much damage (especially when you took 40+ sec average reload speed).

If you move her up to 6.0, which is where all the HE spammers is at, she’s gonna ended up as a punching bag and nothing else.

Because penetration is much inferior?

Well considering the massive survivability buff those sisters get at next update, it is not weird both ships to go 7.3

There were multiple sources claiming that it’s 3 rpm on Mariya(not Poltava, they have different turret). Things were not buffed just because battleship BR’s too compressed to touch Mariya easily at that time.

They are mostly having problem so they stationed there. Especially they are mostly inferior on firepower compared to 8 fast firing 5 inches.

That’s nice that you move Leone class lower, but why should Soldati class destroyers (RN Corazziere, RN Geniere, RN Aviere) stay at current brs?
All Soldati destroyers require 0.3 br reduction, all of them have poor survivability, long reloading and low damage shells. RN Aviere is almost identical (only real difference is that it has a few more torpedoes) to 3.7 RN Grecale, while RN Corazziere and RN Geniere only add one more cannon with a limited arc.
Also I don’t get increasing of G.91 pre-serie BR, it doesn’t have any guided missiles or other powerful armament.

Vehicle: SMS Elbing
Gamemode: Naval Realistic
BR Change: 4.7 -----> 4.3
Reason: Despite it has 150mm cannons, it actually only has 4 of them on each side. Additional, it has almost no armour, making it extremely vulnerable to destroyers. 4.3 is a more reasonable BR for it at this time

Vehicle:USS Sommers,USS Davis
Gamemode: Naval Realistic
BR Change: Stay 5.0
Reason: Oversized ammo racks makes the entire ship actually very fragile, despite the high firing rate

Vehicle: USS Aylwin
Game mode: Naval Arcade/Naval Realistic
BR Change: 3.7->remaining 4.0BR or goes up to 4.3BR

Reason: it is extremely bizarre to see a destroyer with 4x 5/38 go down to 3.7 while literally everything others goes higher, especially when other counterparts in 4.0BR with 5/38 go up.

Vehicle:IJN Kako
Gamemode: Naval Realistic
BR Change: Stay 4.7
Reason: Low fire rate and weak armor

Battle Rating Adjustment: Belfast 6.0 → 5.7 (remain unchanged)
Reasons:

  1. Poor Survivability of Belfast: The vast majority of crew members are distributed on the ship’s surface. Destroyer high-explosive (HE) shells can easily eliminate most of Belfast’s crew. Although its armor appears thick on paper, the critical areas are poorly protected in reality. Players spend entire matches repairing fire control systems and patching up the command module.

  2. Low Shell Penetration and Explosive Charge: Beyond 4 km (within normal engagement ranges), Belfast’s shell penetration drops sharply. Its shells are unable to penetrate light or heavy cruisers at this distance. At battle rating 6.0, Belfast would face cruisers like Helena and 68k, among others, with no competitive edge at the same rating. Worse still, entering the 6.0 bracket would expose it to numerous cruiser AI enemies and even battleships.

  3. Lack of Seaplanes and Torpedoes: Some ships can still gain advantages through seaplane-based point capture even when outmatched, but Belfast lacks this capability. In close-range gunfights, ships without torpedoes cannot counter enemies they fail to penetrate, and Belfast has no torpedoes for such scenarios.

IJN Ikoma is a Pre-dreadnought and gets wiped by heavy cruisers with decent AP shells. The ship can’t put much of a dent into actual proper Dreadnoughts, and is actually relatively well balanced against advanced destroyers, and most cruisers, barring the 1944+ designs like Des Moines and Worcester.

In actual matches, the 12" guns are mostly for show. IJN Ikoma is more of a very fat and well protected light cruiser with the option of gambling with dispersion on the low chance of a huge 12" hit to a cruiser not paying attention. Seriously, the secondaries do the most work. If they get knocked out by HE spam (which is a constant due to US DD spam) then not only do you shed 20 to 30% of your crew, but you also lose your primary armament.

Kinda like running around in a Tribal class DD without the guns and only the torps. Or a Belfast without the 6" guns and only the 4" guns. Or a Rodnol reversing into battle using the 6" secondaries only. You should get the idea.

IJN Ikoma is not a particularly good battleship, and shouldn’t be compared to actual dreadnoughts, super-dreadnoughts or semi-modern battleships. Even the really terrible French Dreadnoughts laugh at Ikoma. Their 12" guns might be worse in terms of penetration, but everything else about the ships is ten times better.
