Its base bombing ability is the only reason it is this high and even then mig 23s get to the bases before you every time anyway. If the mig 23m can be 11.0 while being better in every way but flare count then so can this.

95mm of pen vs 86mm of pen, how does the pgz have better pen lmao. I have no idea where you got the velocity from since it doesnt say anywhere how much velocity each round has. The fire rate difference isnt even that big. The only reason that makes sense is that its got better survivability, since the zsu-37-2 is also staying at 7.7, but increasing a vehicles br just because it has better survivability against strafes is just weird to me

Historically, we both know that was the reason why we decided to focus more on solid shots.
But, in War Thunder which soviet APHE doesn’t explode immaturely, having APHE is lot better than using solid shots.
Especially when both M61 APCBC/-HE share almost all aspects.

Reason: The gun sucks. Actually, the gun is the worst thing about the tank, besides its terrible mobility and armor. The high penetration is just overkill and not even necessary, it would be a better tank with APHE.
Not to mention the HEAT makes it unable to fight on forest/grass.
Edit: The tank is actually OK if you are fighting vitality stats 0 enemy tank crews, otherwise the spalling doesn’t do much.
You know what, M-51’s cannon doesn’t have APHE.

Can we please move up top tier tanks to rank 13.0 or 13.3 so that we can seperate br12.0 from the highest echelones of the game in ground realistic mode?

Never, it has no reload speed or mobility nor does it have thermals to be moved up to 9.7. It is also not a widely seen tank in game to impact the game as much as lets say T-58 which should also not be touched.
Your Dm 33 launching vehicles are being buffed to 9.0 so no reason to worry about a thick armored tank.
this and the M113 ADATS could probably even go down to 10.7 and not be that busted tbh, the 2S6 is 10.7, and they were equals for the longest time, and suddenly they’re 1.0 different in BR with minimal changes?

Nah, the sad part was it was probably always bound for 5.0 APHE or not. The Crocodile has been sitting around 60% winrate for like the last 6 months. It’s also got a very decent KD. Which I would say did far more damage to the Mk VII going up than APHE.

It the Leo’s are going down in BR, why are the type 74 e/f not going down in BR they are worst in every other aspect of the game. Hell even the STB 2 and other 8.3 japs are already over BRed only getting APDS at 8.3 and they will be facing leo’s with 400mm pen rounds better mobility and thermals?
Look at the other 8.0 to 9.0 like ztz59d1 gets darts with the japs 8.3 only gets apds?
Can other US 90mm armed tanks get reload buff too?

Additionally, the difference in acceleration is only noticeable at low altitudes, past 5000-6000m which is hte altitude you should always be at the thrust and acceleration curve are nearly identical.
