I got one of my wings shot off in the p47 d 28 re and in my opinion it made the flight performance better
Destroyed in the context of the game means damaged beyond repair. In this situation, the plane will be damaged beyond repair, but can still shoot as long as the pilot is alive
There was an instance of a mid-air collision between an F-15 and an A-4. The F-15 lost its right wing at the root and the pilot only realized the extent of the damages that after landing. They thought, they might have lost an aileron or something.
Ahh aircraft bias. In Naval and Ground, destroyed means DESTROYED!!!
That’s no fun and not remotely realstic due to human survival instinct but it’s not impossible. You could as easily complain about tank crews calmly shooting you because the owner pumped $US40 into immortal crewmembers. Not remotely realistic but possible.
Pretty sure that flatspinning su30’s and 33’s and raf’s are a good 10% ish of my deaths so far while grinding the su27SM. And while not being even being alot of my deaths, it just feels like its supposed to piss you off when it happens.
Like, I get it. “BeAsT iNsIDe” Fight back with everything and try and take the enemy with you bs. i’ve done it a few times myself and sometimes enjoy getting that revenge kill from time to time.
But ffs, If im fighting 3 guys, “Kill” 1 of em and start focusing on the other 2. It sucks balls when you get a 27ET or mica rammed up your exhaust because. Woopty doo, that one guy could still launch 20km missiles while pointed face first at the earth at 200m.
Now, im not saying they should be defenseless and lose all weaponry (Like props to them if their able to gun someone down it a broken jet) , But maybe losing missile control when “Killed” would be decent, Or at least when flatspinning?
