Pen is historically inaccurate in ground forces

I have first hand account of people claiming you are a dingus 🤓.

Yeah i guess if you were there and the police questioned you on a murder it wouldnt matter. Because your first hand account doesnt matter or its not true at all.

Did you turn into a lawyer now? What are you even talking about lol

Actually a testimony by itself isnt often enough, you need to prove the guilt beyond reasonable doubt, and often there are other corraborating evidence.

But what do i know about that, i only do law for living.

First hand account this, US tankers that blah blah blah.

You do realize there’s reports of allied tankers shooting at square looking building ruins off in the distance and calling it a Tiger kill? Citing first hand accounts is like citing Wikipedia if you don’t back it up with historical records and data.

I’m going to entertain this.

US testing of 90mm T15E1 rounds

IMG_4983

The Tiger II’s UFP is 150mm sloped at 40 degrees, giving a relative thickness of 233mm.

The T50 APCBC shell can only penetrate 7.6 inches of armour (193mm) at 30 degrees (i.e. worse than the Tiger II’s UFP) at less than 50 metres. There is no way it is then able to penetrate the Tiger II’s UFP, even at point blank. And the Super Pershing in game doesn’t even have T50, it has the worse T43.

Isnt this an issue with eastern front, that any german casemate TD with fighting compartment at the back of the chasis that was taken out was called ferdinand/elephant?

Well that was one huge troll post.

If only people were open to reality:

-Reason why we have use of formulas in game (yes, not accurate but better than what we had due to no universal “testing” or “verification”.
-Reason why we moved on from the old way of “historical” (see above).

“Historical” aspects are not all present since this is a game.

Vehicles being “knocked out” in the real world would stop this being an enjoyable game since any pen would mean a bailed tank, any damage such barrels, tracks, crew, engine, transmission, etc, would not be repaired in 10 seconds on the field (dead tank).

This game exists due to the easy access via controls and forgiving mechanics. And of course aircraft first then ground/naval tacked on. This is a niche game and making it more niche makes zero sense.

Historical accuracy is not popular and would make for a much more sparse population.

Arcade props up this game for the more “serious” to play their modes but they fail to appreciate this reality. I always knew my main mode was just the most noisey but least populated.

Terrible troll topic, however. And used as an excuse for OP to try to beliittle others (and failed).

Yeah it all gets pretty messy in the heat of battle and most tank commanders kinda just made assumptions off of shapes

Leopard 2A6’s lower hull armor is a 35mm thick plate.

Why would a 37mm gun with 80+mm of pen not be able to penetrate it?

The only Sherman variant with such functional armor is the Jumbo. Yeah, the heavy assault modification with 4,000 kg of additional armor. When it comes to hull, 101mm angled 48º. That’s the equivalent of 151mm of thickness. Panther and Tiger II’s gun can penetrate it. Tiger I and Panzer IVs can’t, for good reason- it was made for that.

Jumbo variant is understandable. But other variants makes no sense since they have paper armor when fired at by a gemran 88 gun

That’s why the 88mm gun slices through their armor like a hot knife through butter:

lil bro can’t handle the reality that first hand accounts prove otherwise. And its not about belittling anyone. Its proving a fact that delusional people can’t accept because they believe in a video game.

When the first hand accounts call the Sherman a death trap despite it having relatively high crew survival rates
