Nuke don’t give any guarantee win anymore because if the op team manage to get plane/jet in air to shoot you nuke down.
Potentially shoot down, though. I think 75% of the time a nuke gets dropped without any issues, the remaining 25% the majority of nuke shoot-downs tends to be a teamkill, for whatever reason.
So a nuke is still quite a big I-win button, even if it may have gotten a bit more difficult to drop it.

It’s amazing that we have so many complaints about being in a lousy team and getting no wins as as a team then somebody destroys a nuke carrier and the chance for a sure fire win that a team mate has earned.Getting a nuke is a superb personal achievement but it’s also like the individual is sharing their top spot with all of us by earning a team victory.To destroy that in a team kill is evil and Gaijin should be doing all they can to stop this.
Team kill for planes should be removed.Its kind of off topic but overall ODL is just a show of disrespect for the game overall. Gaijin need to make a more respectful game.
They foster greed and personal glory over team work.I am only selfish becuse I see the game for what it is but I am willing to go with a more team based game if Gaijin want to lead off with it.Until that happens its me me me and if ODL is part of that then so be it.

Preaching to the choir mate :) I don’t understand people that TK their own nuke carrier - I mean, granted, if it’s an absolute lollerstomp of a match where you’ll win regardless of whether that nuke gets dropped or not, it’s less of a dick move, but still a dick move. If it happens when the nuke is the one shot at getting a team victory, then yeah, it’s absolutely infuriating. But I guess that’s also why it’s done; there’s a large percentage of the population that seems to absolutely get off on being the most annoying little goblins they can be.
Or maybe I’m just getting old and I’ve got a case of “git offa mah lawn” syndrome :(
Maybe? I mean, I ODL/2DL because in all honesty, if we’re 5 minutes in, we’re behind on tickets and caps, and half the team has already gone back to garage, the match outcome has been determined already. And while I could farm a bit more RP and SL by respawning vehicles, it stops being fun and you’re just going through the motions.
But that’s just a problem caused by a succession of silly things Gaijin has done; such as having god-awful map design to begin with, then shrinking them down even further, then making kills the next big money earner after capping, and the CAS situation. Throw all that together, stir vigorously, and there you go. The recipe for ODL.
That’s a genre-wide problem though, most PvP shooters are like that, because you are in essence playing with randoms who you may not ever see again, so why bother with teamwork? The only server I see it happen more often is the US one but that’s probably more to do with the everyone-speaka-da-eeenglish language thing.

I agree with that because by the time must nuke spawn the op team lack any sp to spawn any jet/plane to stop it but sometimes I see the op team manage to spawn jets anyway.
It is hard to have any respect for game when Gaijin does not respect it. Tech trees, modules, battlepasses and events. Everything is just about grind and nothing about gameplay. It is hard to respect when gaijin just want to push grind over grind.

Why should people be penalized for leaving if the other team is just basically murdering your side? Or the other team is spawn camping the crap out of you. I should not have to lose Silver Lions to spawn in more tanks to be cannon fodder.
