I’ve seen a couple threads about that around here.
Granted, the OPs were revealed to not be too spectacular themselves.

It used to be a larger punishment when it cost more SL and with the premium SL lost change it will never cost anything so yeah, it’s not a big deal but it’s still an exploit.
You can say it’s subjective all you like but it’s incorrect. The game is a team based game.
I prefer to help my team mates, do they return the favor? Sometimes. Do we win more when I’m actively trying to be a good team mate? Absolutely.
You can one death leave, and yoy can justify it however you like but it doesn’t change the fact that you are messing over your team who decided to stick it out.
I understand some people want to leave a match for many reasons. Maybe it’s a stomp, maybe they just got a bit frustrated ect ect.
But I’ve seen people leave matches where we have a full advantage. We have all points and the match is going great. Then team mates push the enemy spawn, then they die…and then they quit, after one death.
Guess what usually happens after? More and more people leave, then we lost the match because it’s only 4 or 5 people left on one side vs a bunch more on the other.
Didn’t stop me then, either. I simply ran 1 vehicle line-ups more often. It’s all within the system Gaijin created, so it’s not an exploit by any definition. You saying it is, is simply your opinion. Nothing more.
As for the rest, it is subjective whether you like it or not. I don’t view my " team " as my team. They are just another gaggle of opponents that I cannot kill outright. Nothihg more, nothing less.
You compete to win it all. Cool. Good for you.
I compete only to fulfill my own interests. Cool. Good for me.
Simple as.
And that’s the exploit I’ve talked about in other post that many others use, one vehicle on a bar.
You can say it’s subjective but it’s really not. The game is a team based game, doing team stuff rewards you. Simple as that.
And like I said before, you play how you like and that’s fine but it’s still messing over team mates. Like, I’m not telling you to go play something else that centers around single player gameplay, I’m just stating that this is a team based game and people like you are messing up your team mates.
No it really isn’t, you come into it solo, you pay for it and you take the rewards solo.
The team element is secondary if it is there at all. You want teams you do squads.
This is fact not opinion.
If you want immersion from this game, then you can imagine you have it for a while as I did and as many do but it soon becomes evident it is not there no matter how hard you shake your head.
Team play exists in theory not fact.
Can we get a comment from the devs if this is a team based game officially? How can you guys think it’s not a team game?
It’s not Tarkov for god’s sake. You are rewarded for team based behavior, you are discouraged from hurting your team mates. I really don’t know how this is up for discussion.
It is black and white clear to me exactly what this game is even if it is not to you.
I have lived long enough to know when I am alone and when I am truly supported in a game or in real life as the two amounts to the same. I don’t need a Dev to tell me.
No the team talk is just that. You may be fooled I am not. The rewards for team play do not scream “team” to me but solo player. That can change if Gaijin want it to until that time, I see a Solo game among the spin.
An analogy would be this. If society collapsed tomorrow due to an unexpected disaster, I know what would happen. Panic, Looting, Murder, a free for all. What would you expect? An orderly queue?
Sounds heavy for what is only a game, and it is, but my point is this, see what what is really there not what should be.
Not to be rude, but, are you ok? Yeah, I don’t except the best out of people but I still manage to find the good here and there.
And I just want to be clear, the “are you ok?” Is not to meant to be a dickish little “hehe r u ok” type thing. I’m genuinely trying to reach out, and I’m a bit drunk over here so please don’t take offense.
Let’s just say Cody that I could ask no more than to have somebody with your attitude on my team whatever Gaijin think. A man has to have his standards game or no game.
Respect.

Thats is not exploit. Gaijin gave players freedom to create lineups as they wish. So 1 vehicle lineup is as legit as 7 vehicle lineup. What if player has 1 vehicle and 1 plane? Its also legit lineup.
If they wanted for players to have more than 1 vehicle they could easily raise minimum lineup vehicle count. But they wont as it doesn’t suit their premium vehicle selling policy.
Simple counter: If you J out of an intact vehicle, max repair applies.
If somebody leaves, they leave. I don’t see it as a big deal.
That is a different matter.
IMHO, it would be easiest to allow vehicles to respawn 2x or 3x. That would make ODL less of an issue, especially premium ODL.
A team is only as strong as its weakest player.
In our teams at least 10 out of 16 can´t even pee a yellow hole in the snow. You can only count on 2 or 3 mates who kill more vehicles than they lose. 10 or 12 others rely on someone to win for them in every single battle.
It’s not my job to win their battles for such players. My job is to complete battle tasks for myself. If these players want to win, they should use vehicles in which they can make a fair contribution to the victory and if they cannot do that in any vehicle, then they should play chess or monopoly or backgammon instead but not a game that they do not understand and are not willing to learn.
considering i do it cause im awesome, id say ideally even less of a punishment would suit me better
Stop pretending like this only happens if your team is doing bad or being spawn camped or when you’re just losing.
I’ve seen matches turn around 180 degrees because players who only die once while we are completely winning all quit.
All of a sudden, the match we were winning has become a 16v6 because everyone left. It’s a selfish move. At least in chess or backgammon if you quit because you are a sore loser your only messing over yourself.
You are gone after two lives anyway. If you are even an average player, then unequal sides are good fun and I get more kills as we are being overrun than elsewhere in the game sometimes. So much of GRB is spent driving around looking for enemies and trying to hit them before somebody else does.
