That’s why it’s a needed role to do, even if you don’t think your vehicle has any ability to counter it, as the threat of even ‘something’ being there is half of the actual purpose of anti-air…

And that’s why everyone complaining about how ‘bad’ it is and that they die all the time, and all the junk about the negativity of not wanting to run something like that, is shooting yourself in the foot.

If you’re there as a target, you are making sure someone else isn’t the target.

If you’re actually ‘present’ on the field visibly sending up shots, randomly, people can’t just ‘sit’ and be checking for a better target, because they have to mind out they are being engaged.

And don’t come back with the old ‘But ATGMs run 28kms’ garbage… If they can run over you unopposed, you’re going to be losing… And you CHOOSE not to, because it’s not ‘fun’.

That meme was thrown up earlier, I was going tro reply in kind with the bicycle stick meme, but couldn’t decide if I wanted the lay down, roll over, cry more meme instead.

I grow tired of the negativity in this community about even doing the slightest bit of effort, to actually play as a team… In a team game…

I gotta admit that there is much truth in your words. My lineup of 5 tanks always got two AA in it.
And there are two funny situations that happens always. You see 3 planes. Some mates die and faster then you can say AA half your team consists of AAs … nice situation for the enemy.
And the otherway … most players don’t care and drive straight 5 times to the capzones and die due to planes that can do whatever they want.
The most teamplay I see in enemy teams. Got a loss streak of 10 in a row today. I love this game, but they way it is played by many … there is no patience, no knowledge just the W-Key and left mouse button. And yes, there is much frustration in my writing so don’t take it too serious.

It seems this ODL is extremely frustrating for some. I just think it must be very frustrating for those who want complete commitment to each battle, push forward no matter the cost, stop using sound judgement and give all and damn the torpedoes. I really don’t see ODL much up to 6.0 and top tier has way more issues then ODL.
I go about my business, watch my teams go lemming to the nearest CAP, C&F or just respawn and make the lemming charge again. Once in a while, I’ll actually see good judgement play. YES it does happen and I get a real charge playing those battles, hell I couldn’t care less win/defeat, it is great fun.
If I ever get so caught up in winning that I demand others play my way, well maybe it’s time to pull back and take note it is a computer game for God Sake.
I still get a little troubled by the low SL rewards for SPAA kill on air. I see a lot of 555 SL per kill, damn sad that.

Is that from lower than current BR planes? I seem to get around 1000+ from A2A kills (no premium).

Surely they can code SPAA v Air kills with improved rewards? (ofc not to ground since a few are insane TDs)

Add level cap to buying high tier premiums and using high tier squadron/event vehicles.

I just want to say that I don’t expect perfection each battle. Some basics. Even not from everyone. Because we are human beeings. The minimum for me is that there is some interest in getting better. Some basic understanding.

Personally I hate the recent map changes. There aren’t enough map bans so yeah, I’ll quit.

You are most likely correct. I don’t really follow up as to why low SL. When you consider lower BR planes are just as deadly to SPAA as equal BR should not matter, but hey, it is what it is. I like working SPAA but at times can be awful slow and unrewarding if air doesn’t show up. GJ seems to want to make SPAA as least attractive as possible.

I hate them too. Im thinking about playing other WW2 games that have huge maps and infantry as well as arty. But I really enjoy this game and have spent alot of time and money on it, it really sux the direction gaijin have decided to go

Gaijin should bring back the no-go zone around the spawns

i have honestly no idea how someone who makes such a good game can be so incompetent in designing and redesigning their maps.

I love the game, but those maps makes it a tough love

I had to start doing 0DL with my 8.7 tanks.

Absolutely unplayable MM system for reasons I cannot understand. I just counted playing 20 battles and every single time my tanks were -1.0br. It makes no sense playing these battles as my tanks just have rockets that enemy can automatically counter, and ammo that does nothing to enemy reactive armor. My SA heli has AGM missiles that do very little damage to anyone else except enemy AA, which though now has guns and rockets and can kill me from miles away.

In order to save money and personal time I from now on immediately leave the battle if I’m -1.0br. And I do this for obvious reasons.

I adapted and bring 1 ground vehicle and 3 - 5 planes / helis since it is how the ground RB is meant to be played.

Yes, it is not a tank game, ground vehicles just have to be used as entry to the actual battle, air war. You can just spawn heli and side step the boring necessarily stupid ground vehicle issue all together.

Good to have enough points to spawn them because if you lack the points you can’t spawn them anyway.

Not being able to get ammo to SPA when there is only 1capture point in map, which is being already held/contested/sniped by an enemy is depressing mechanic. I think this needs to be changed for real.

1DL is the best thing , when you have monkeys for team mates or cheating a$$ ruski’s or being 99% uptiered why waste your time to try to “win” in a game that favors your misery so you can spend money ? Nah thanks . I’m tired being queued with players that have 20k+ games with 90% winrate on everything and the entire team be basically like this player . Nope thank you , the matchmaking of the game sucks ass and I don’t give a shit about the rest of the team if they win or not , when I don’t enjoy the match I leave . Gaijin scks your meat anyways , you leave the game for 1 month and they slide that free battle pass , 1mil+ sl and some vehicles for free . I never run out of SL and always 1DL , don’t care about KD cause I like touching grass and not sweat that much like the above people trying harding lmao

Quitting each battle is good, it means planes and spawn campers can’t kill you

They should put some 20min crew lock for early leavers.

Makes no sense playing anymore. As per my observations it does not necessarily even need a team to be losing for people to immediately disconnect. We might be winning, holding all flags but still poof 2/3 of the players exit with 1 death and after that we lose.

Oh well, I have never paid any money of this game and looking at the way it is that shall remain so in the future as well. I was close to buying premium aircraft, but why bother if there are no players left to fight against.

Why not increase rewards for those who stay the whole match? What is everyones obsession with insane crew lcoks/punishments, its a video game its supposed to be fun.

If gaijin can design good maps, I will spawn more than once more often, but upteirs combined with abysmal map design make me 1DL.
