It’s a game you’re supposed to play to win, not flake out within 5 minutes and bail because you think you know what’s coming or how the match is playing out…

I uninstalled the game, I finally had enough. Actually I feel all online gaming has went to crap.

I like that idea. A reward that put battle participation and the battle time together could be a benefit to those who really “fight” for their team.

Yeah when a player clicks the red button To Battle!, it means he is prepared to play the type of battle he has selected. He shall be connected to a battle with similar players that chose the same.

Now when the same player then spawns one tank and dies after 1-3 minutes and disconnects, it is not only lame for himself but also lets down the entire battle.

Imagine you go see a football game of 90 minutes. One team scores a goal at 6 minutes and then the other team just leaves for next game. This 1DL is pretty much the same.

Better put some incentives to continue playing. Surely, if there can be 5x more credits to those who keep playing why not. Somehow doubt that would be ok for developers. But a 20min ban for playing would be a good start. Remember, it is not a penalty. It is only a penalty if you were going to disconnect from a 25min battle after playing only 2 minutes.

Don’t be lame, keep playing. Or else, don’t play if you don’t like any of the maps, tanks, game modes and what not.

But the issue is I am matched on the team that leaves 90% of the time so this is not a skill issue it is a match maker issue at this point. Maybe they should have it where those who have a high quitting percentage can only get matched with that same %. Other games can account for players quitting so why can’t this game have that?

Would love to write something useful. But it is what it is. ODL are ruining others battles and it hurts the battle experience. The matches are done in 4min and you can’t even fight this because you get spawncamped right after your 1st death. In the worst case you even can’t get enough time to shot enemies to get some points …

Wrong, because the soccer player gets paid handsomely regardless. and at low tiers, people do give up and just walk around waiting for end.

Oh and soccer actually has matchmaking, not putting FIFA world pros on 1 team and 10 kids on the other.

Yes but pressing red button “To Battle” doesn’t specify time nor obligate someone to spent certain amount of time in the session.

Also how do you know there will be similar players? Thats the issue with random games. You get random players. What you are saying applies only to squadron battles or tournaments. Only in those two you can count on to be connected to similar players.

I keep saying, eliminate all rewards/bonuses for cooperation with random people, reward only teams of up to 4 people as a tiny bonus. Eliminate the reward for winning a battle and allocate it to the 5 and 3 best players on the winning and losing sides.

a bonus for winning/losing a battle with completely random people when the MM balances the game is stupid, my fault is supposed to be that I perform slightly above average and the game punishes me with a stupider team to balance both teams. Simple manipulation to limit the progress of better players and forcefully support the stupider ones with bonuses. Abolish it completely and reward only for results.

That sounds absolutely idiotic… If anything that’d make it worse.

You should be rewarded more for winning a battle, because that incentivises people working together and it makes winning something to feel good about.

IMO the top 3 players on the losing team should get rewards equal to/slightly less than the winning teams reward bonuses.

And why should a better player fund a prize for a worse one? I don’t want my work put into winning the game to sponsor a bonus for some random guy who entered, died, left and left the slot empty. A reward awarded only for results would weed out bots from battles because they are not very effective. We solve many problems at the same time.
We reward everyone in proportion to their effort in battle.
We eliminate the problem of the reward being dependent on some random people
We are eliminating rewards for bots, which significantly affects their population on the servers.

It’s idiotic to expect someone to win games for you so that you can get better prizes.

You’re eliminating the awards for the rest of the team in a team based game, that’s how idiotic this is…

Nothing at all to do with ‘bots’.

You play as a team in tournaments/SQB, not in random battles with random people doing random goals. I have nothing to do with these people and I completely ignore them. They hinder rather than help, creating a false illusion of security when they are around. I have no benefit from this random mass except that I am forced to do the work for most of them because all they do is die and leave. I don’t see the slightest reason why I should try to make this stupid mass get at least 1 more XP just because I did my job and won the round while they are already playing the next one.

That’s only if you expect them to save you like some who have trouble with teammates here do…

That’s just you, expecting to have to do it yourself, because you don’t hold the team in high regard.

ODLs hardly have anything to do with you ignoring the team in the first instance anyway, so why should they bother, in the same way as you don’t bother…

It’s a TEAM game no matter what mode you join.

Our points of view are different for a very simple reason.


And people like me don’t want anything from you.

However, people like you want rewards for “joint” efforts.

Let’s consider why.

That’s why I wrote that a bonus could be given to people in squad, max 4 people and some small reward for cooperation. Then you have real cooperation of several people, not 16 random dice thrown in random directions with a random result.

I don’t mind your point but lets be fair, requriing squads is complete garbage of an idea.

Majority, like 90% of people want to play solo.

There is a reason that premades are banned in most games or have mm penalties. Dota, LOL, MWO etc…

And here, they give you an autosquadie to push that idea… There is no issue with squading, and it doesn’t impact your matchmaking… The only way it does, is it tries to add another squad into your match opposite you.

I have seen matches where at least 3/4s of the entire match are intentionally squaded, not just autosquaded.
