And that’s what these threads and our postings are trying to highlight, and we have done so as there are staff looking at these issues because of this.

ODL are not the only problem. What about the 5 death leavers, you know the ones. Drive out of the spawn firing their MG into the air, banging rounds into team mates back side. Get 1 or 2 kills but feed all kinds of tickets to the opposition by dying 5 times, yet GJ rewards them by points and they are higher in the team (win or lose) then you with 4 kills but only 0 or 1 death? The guys that rush the CAP with high speed wheelers, die, spawn in air, die and leave as 2 death leavers? Battle is lost because too many tickets sold to the opposition.
Maybe GJ should have a qualifier for players. If your skill level is too low (below 100, low KD), like car racing, you are back in the pack of queue times and wait 5 or 10 minutes to spawn in as the better players spawn first in line? As you get better you move into better queue times?
That stuff just doesn’t fly, yet each are a problem if winning is your only goal. ODL are a problem for some, yet GJ introduces wind into maps but doesn’t fix this issue? What does that tell you?
ODL don’t effect queue times or the bottom dollar, so a none issue for GJ.

No, they won’t.
Even though they punish someone who brings a full line up to a game to try and win if they try to leave, the premium one death people get rewarded.
That’s great, it still doesn’t change the fact that people like you are what’s causing these issues we have in game.
No respawns in ARB.
I am aware of that, but that was in reference to overhauling spawn points. Including the process for RTB to repair/re-arm which in effect is akin to respawn. But the comment was more in reference to the fact that RB generally has spawn point issues and I think both NRB and GRB spawn points originated from a ARB mindset (single point the team spawns at together)
ARB is its own can of worms. I keep thinking about how to describe the problems ARB has, but I don’t think there is enough time tonight. You know what? I don’t have enough ibuprofen for that headache.
Which is why I play ASB. Not perfect by any stretch. But certainly has fewer issues

or You just don’t realize that what You ask is simply selfish for all the wrong reasons,

How about we squad up and You can explain Your reasoning in the way You and I play the game?
Because I can’t decide whether to just find some weird ways to see Your reasoning, or just put You on ignore lists and be done with it.
I also understand why non premium players do ODL as it has some benefits
- You grind modules much faster
- You can play only vehicle you want to play
- You do not have to deal with uptiers for long time meanwhile in downtiers you mostly survive much longer
- You do not have to waste much time on maps you do not like
- Spawn killing is never issue for you
- CAS is much lest frustrating as it will kill you only once per battle.
- Some people may like start of the game more than late game as late game is more of the mine field and enemy can by anywhere. At lower tiers on some maps it must be a joy to drive another 2 minutes from spawn just to be oblitarated by someone hiding behind some random building.
Combination of CAS, spawn campers and winter maps is basically reason why I switched to one tank lineups. Predefined spawn points where CAS can spawn kill you so easily made it pointless for me to care beyond first spawn, at least when I play solo. Winter maps just made it easier for them.
All games need a balance of what you risk (time and ingame assets) vs what you are rewarded (ingame assets). And my time playing online has teached me that most developers aren’t fully aware of how critical is Time. Video games are competing for time against Web 2.0 and real life… and if there’s one fast way to trash your game, is to not provide enough reward for the player’s time. “Free to play” games ARE NOT FREE. They ALWAYS cost TIME.
And here 1DL come as a away to save Time. Time needed to earn back the assets (currency) to use other assets (vehicles). Time to have a good battle instead of dying in the first minute, maybe next map.
Thus time saving features are always welcome. The new “repair cost over time” mechanic should be making a difference, at least it does for me. I am respawning more often when my first tank gets one shot for 60 glorious XP and 1200 SL (out of 6,000 repair cost). It means I can spend more time in the battle without risking to have to grind more money later just to rinse and repeat.
So the new repair cost overtime mechanic has removed a unnecessary time penalty on bad/unfortunate players, and that’s good. I’m still not sure it cuts money-over-time losses (as in, you end your session with less money than you started with without buying modules or vehicles) but FAI now I am regularly dual spawning SPAA when there’s a bad situation (like, three choppers from three direcitons, or one straight above the spawn point). The lower cost of dying within the first minute makes it worth a try.
So you get more or lessfor winning? You get more.
Therefore the goal of the game is to win/attempt to win.
Do you get more RP/SL just from standard kills? No, there is reward for many aspects beyond killing.
I think Gaijin put what is important out for all to see.
Ignore the “must be in squad to attempt teamwork” rubbish. Yes it improves the situation, if you know 3 people who play at the same time and level/mode you want, but regardless it is a team game. Just because most are idiots and selfish does not change this. It is entirely possible to work together to achieve the games goal, to win. The aim otherwise is to lose? No.
Just because the masses are selfish does not change the clear motivation to achieve winning by any means. Squadders just prefer if that way so they can prey on the clueless? Who knows. Even non-communicators can work together (language differing).
If it was not a team game then… two teams every match, even PvE! (AI teams of course).
Gaijin already made things around,… nowadays those ODL are copying other ODL for no reasons, or are still unaware of how changes made before is obviously impacting them more for not staying in the game.
It is happening as low as 5.0 now. Seen a few teams rapidly drop after first deaths when I gave it a go.

Yeah, because it was changed some times ago, because of the loudest quitting idiot cry babies in the forum.
And that was in my opinion the biggest mistake ever.
I would give the one death leavers no income of xp and lions from the round but full repair costs.
And would kill the game by doing so, good job.
