It’s normally 2-3 updates.
Which a little over half a year.
IRL ammo is tested with the amount of steel that the round goes through, not the thickness of the plate.
People read up on ammo and see the amount of steel ammo goes through & uses that, thus expects that for simulators.
WT stat cards use plate thickness rather than raw penetration, so you have to convert.
yea but then why is the 0° pen 538mm
I mean I don’t care about ground target technology
Cause an effect that causes ammunition to penetrate through less armor if it’s at 0 degrees.
IRL pen is at 60 degrees.
Good i wasnt intreeted in anything in the first place lol
yea im intrested in DMs Trains
DCS’s Mig in open-beta test is closer to War Thunder’s model, which is closer to real life.
F-16C have essentially identical flight models in DCS & WT.

fr fr ong why didn’t I see it before
It’s math. Cosin of 60 degrees is 2 so 311mm of pen at 60 degrees is 622mm.
I know I just don’t get how the Pen at 60° from 2km away is higher than at 10m at 0°
Completely ignore that I was wrong I went back and read it, basically based on what Razer is saying is theres an effect on ammo which will reduce its effective penetration against flat armor in comparison to angled armor so you only get its true penetration at 60 degrees
Cos60° is 1/2 not 2
but then sloped armor would be a terrible idea and it’s universally seen as a good one
true no Sin/Cosin/Tan can be greater than 1
can we go back to Pleno technology? radar breaks my head way less than that
Evidence? As in your unbelief matters to me.
Than to reference forum rules is nothing more than a defense is the equivalent of rage quitting a conversation you started and unable to answer to any of it.
Go do the research yourself. I have no interest in having a private conversation with the likes. Sorry.
