Define competitive. AMD can compete with the low-end and mid-range. They won’t and don’t want to compete with the 5090, and that is just fine. You don’t need a 5090 and neither do most gamers. What we need is more low-end and mid-range cards with good specs to have people playing games at the most used and popular resolutions, 1080p and 1440p. And yeah, AMD marketing has been trash in the past for their cards, and their cards have only found value later on, such as the 6700XT/6800XT. So the ball is in their court to actually price these things competitive and responsibly upon launch for a change. Here’s hoping the release of Intel’s 580 will push AMD into doing so. Anyway, if I can avoid giving Nvidia money, I would like to. Then there’s the other factors of whether you actually give two sh*ts about ray tracing, which at the lower and mid end, people often don’t. Especially with games like War Thunder.
Both Intel and AMD should be licking their lips if Nvidia keeps up with this AI generating fake frames rubbish that is only making games look worse than they did a decade ago. What is it they’re going for? 3 fake frames for every real one? That’s a bold strategy from Nvidia, Cotton.
Makopa would be too much for it’s current BR even with the Osas and Tunguska. The biggest issue I can foresee in Ground RB is the lack of A2A, every time I use Helis around this BR I spend more of my time dealing or competing with a horde of Su-25s.
I am honestly surprised I got what I have for the price I got it for, considering it’s an older series, and was during the Pandemic Shortage. 370 USD for a 1660 Super.
Why is it that most games on Advance to the Rhine are complete blowouts that are done in literally two minutes ?
Whole team spawned for A, camped around buildings without even trying to cap A and left 95% of the map empty.
