Is it just me or do the missile physics for the VT1 and OSA feel extremely wonky? (playing with them today) Missiles feels less responsive and maneuverable, the FlakBus also won’t guide the missile at some elevations, and it had my head scratching.

Tried it in the test drive and I managed to reproduce it as well, it’s got to be bugged.

Never really understood this. You could just 3d print all that plastic stuff.

Just about to unlock T72M (Hungarian), and as I’ve little experience in earlier Soviet MBT’s, figured it’d be worth asking, what round do you guys take, 3BM15 or 3BM22?

Never really played a tank that has two trade off top darts before. Is it as simple as just sticking with the ‘22 for the extra angled pen?

Personally always ran '22. Cleaves through most things at the BR and has nice chunky damage. At 9.3 you stop really seeing unangled monolithic armour blocks, so the extra angled pen goes a long way.

Cheers mate.

Also whilst I’m here, since I’ve committed myself to this HU/ROM vehicles only grind, as a bit of future planning, I’m curious what’ll be the better option to put in a lineup between OSA AKM and the Strela coming this update?

I know ‘both’ for a short range and long range option is the sensible answer, but I’m too lazy to grind crew skills in another slot lol.

I’d say osa just so you can immediately take out drones when they spawn, also the missile isnt (terrible) as it burns for a while so it stays somewhat manuverable

For the first shell ignore the 3BM9. It may be a dart but even the soviets referred to them as “practice” shells. In-game it acts like that as well.
Your actual progression should be 3BM15–>3BM22.

Id personally go for the OSA, at ~10.3 you start seeing Obama drones and the OSA comfortably out ranges them.

Both, use OSA in uptiers and Strela in downtiers

The more spaa the merrier

Who needs other things? 10 SPAA lineup.

with only cas being drone and nuke lol

Why have I seen so many people say the Mig-23BN is good?

To me, it just seems kinda trash. It’s not that fast if you have any sort of gunpods/bombs, it is slow to accelerate, it bleeds a ridiculous amount of speed, and it’s at 9.7 where the MM sucks. It seems useless in uptiers since there are better platforms with missiles you can’t dodge (magic-1s, R-60s, even stuff like 9Js or 9Gs).

Am I just playing it wrong, or are most people not spawning in uptiers?

I’m guessing it’s for napalm bomb trucking

3D printing has a lot of it’s own hurdles

It isn’t even too good at that in my opinion. Mig-21s around the same BR are just as fast, and they carry missiles too.

However, it is decent in sim depending on the bracket it is in.

Yes, fair enough. But it is an option.

A very interesting WT critique in my opinion:

I know this is par for the course at this point, but man, it’s hard to enjoy just about any of the new stuff this update, when it all feels so bug ridden and unfinished.

Was super hyped for Pzh2000HU for my HU lineup, bought it… Legitimately unplayable. From small bugs like… All it’s armour being visually broken when spawning in, to big bugs like once it’s taken damage, you can no longer turn the turret, reload or fire (Like forever… No repair will fix it). Not to mention the armour holes meaning any explosion nearby is instant overpressure death.

I think okay, maybe i grind EF instead, but i watch videos of their radar / IRST being completely broken too…

I think okay, I grind Namer instead, oh look, Trophy bug is back. What’s the point grinding a vehicle who’s whole new feature is Trophy.

Just super disappointing man.

It’s referred to as a practice shell because their was no use for 115mm penetrators in the 1979s-1980s.

I was just glad to see Gaijin fix multipathing by allowing Eurofighters to fly underground.
