Man, gritty audio like this is a dream.
An improvement for sure but the biggest thing missing for me currently is radio chatter from friendly tanks, would be nice if you heard radio comms when friendlies hit/destroy a tank or get hit/critically damaged themselves.

Is it possible to un-slave IR missiles from a radar lock?
I often have situations where I’m guiding in a SARH, but another target will appear close to me I need to use an IR on, but the IR just snaps to the radar lock and not the new target.
Is there a setting to change that? Or do I just need to deal with the inconvenience of breaking the radar lock and losing my SARH?
Nope. Currently it is not possible.

Man, my 4TB HDD is stuffed full. But I don’t feel very good about deleting my 1,73ish TB of gaming clips, most of them War Thunder. But as it stands now, WT cannot Update and will crash due to no free disk space.
I looked at a 12 TB one to put into my setup, but it is like 230€ or so. And I feel very emotionally down currently due to becoming an adult, having to become independent and let go, worrying about my apprenticeship, what if I fail that? No Job without a degree. But I hate this 40h Work week, 8h 30min a day. But this is how it is.
Sorry, just coping and seething. Thinking about Psychotherapy, but when I talked to a counselor she just gave me a huge list and told me that it can take years until there is a free spot for me. But the apprenticeship is now and the finals are mid 2026 already. And I am very critical about antidepressants.

Not every livery is the same. Personally I dont like the classic colored tiger stripes but something subtle like this from PAF is very pleasing to the eye:
