People often discuss the occurrences of this matter as if it’s something that happens only once or twice, but I’ve seen that it lives more than what it dies 9.3’s cant kill this thing cuz their shell goes right trough the lower hull without doing anything cuz of the low spalling. People claim that the turret can be penetrated, and while that is true, it’s a situational occurrence. I’ve experienced multiple instances where shots bounced off the turret, making it an unreliable shot. In all honesty, I believe this vehicle should not be rated at 10.0.

Gaijin devs summed up. We dont do vehicles that are prototypes, without proper documentation, unless its Russian. Than all of them are well documented and will be in game.

yeah but as i said before this dosent stop if from stomping everything in one shot, this is a decently armored vehicle with good mobility and an extremely good gun its unbalanced at the BR it is right now
this are all vehicles that have been documented and there is a lot of info about specially the PSO and AGS, there isnt even a single archive stating the penetration of the object 292 shell for my knowledge

I havent tried it myself yet, but already saw plenty of them in battles at 11.7 (considering i heard many suggestions to raise it to 10.7, i think its valid) and they are just another soviet mbt, but with even longer window of opportunity after it fires. And yep, my Type 10 tanked shots from 292 (i havent been one-shotted once yet).

i really doubt this considering i have been 1 shot quite easily with higher tier vehicles such as the Leopard 2A7V wich btw can be pen’d in the turret by the object 292
You free to doubt. But thats what it is. 292 gun is pretty powerful, yes. But you still have to aim properly (and specially because of Gaijinmoments).

The best counter imo to the 292 is the M1128 with M900, but most vehicles struggle to penetrate the 292 anywhere. The breach is very trolly for most of the sub 400mm apfsds rounds. The LFP is decent but angling or hull down makes it nonviable if the 292 player knows what he’s doing.

This thing is so spammed, I’ve been facing it EVERY SINGLE game with my 9.3 German line up and my amazing DM13.
Yes, I can pen it. LFP, flanks, but I almost never OS it and I always get OSed in return. From the side, the fuel tank eats the apsfds, from the front or the optic I kill the driver only. Sometimes when I get lucky I get 2 crew members.
And this is ofc in the situation where I can aim at these spots. When we are on Maginot Line and there is just the turret popping on the top of a hill what I am supposed to do ? “Return to hangar” ?

Im not very good at ground but the 292 seems unreasonably low in BR. I mean its currently just taking over GRB and there’s a reason for that.
Like a lot of event vehicles, it’ll probably go up in BR. Gaijin has a really nasty habit of doing this to event vehicles. It’s really bad for the game and also not fair to those who grind out or buy these vehicles.
They always make them seem so good and then they overperform and Gaijin raises their BR and sometimes even kills the vehicles usability. I mean look at the losat lol.
