The 292’s armor is still overall better than the early Abrams (the ones without DU in the turret unlike the 11.3+ Abrams-es), and the 292’s gun lets it completely ignore the turret armor of tanks such as the Challenger 1 - which can only rely on their turret armor to actually make them relevant.
I would still personally pick the M1 Abrams over the 292 because of its mobility, gun handling and reload speed - but they’re clearly not too far apart in performance and the 292 shouldn’t be the same BR as a ZTZ96A, for example.
all this made me remember germany didnt trust any technical tests, and instead they decided to invest a lot of money into making tests as precise as possible. For example, in Germany, instead of using RHA blocks to test penenetration, they use composite and ERA to simulate as closely as possible how it would actually perform in a real combat scenario
İ think they knows this but dont wanna take action for now.
İ believe they realized adding 2A7V this early was a mistake and they should’ve gone for armored 2A5,2A76’s first but since damage has already been done they just keeping things in that way to not to cause any more damage.
It’s rather funny how russian vehicles get later modified versions, like the T90A against T90M, as T90M gets better armor than T90A but applying the same logic to the 2A7V, apparently an upgrade over the years, they dont want to fix it in game because to them its apparently impossible for the leopard 2A7V to be better than the STRV122 in terms of armor and its not just non infundated words its something they themselves said and had to back off, plus its just pure sarcasm Dont take it seriously
Nah, its more like a critique to gaijin’s bs instead of saying that they dont want to fully fix it yet for balancing, and instead just make up some excuses with some examples that came in mind since russia upgrades their tanks too, especially since i’ve noticed they have started to nerf russian tanks or fix bugs that make them survive more than they should, like the ammo not exploding
well after long consideration guys i guess now im russphobic, after long consideration someone seems to have reported my comment because they got offended
WHAT IS IT with you people and this constant assault on this ficticious “russian” boogeyman?
there’s a proven track record of these devs showing favoritism towards russian equipment
they literally shot down the stinger overload inaccuracy by saying it’s impossible nato equipment would exceed russian one
the real question is why are you so mad about a simple fact?
could it be that it’s because you main china and therefore benefit from the hand holding?
Afaik it’s a 10.7 vehicle easily, all it looses is the better round and slightly looses mobility. Perhaps 10.3 is possible but I’d argue 10.7 is pair along with be decompression. In capable hands it’s just far too strong with that armor it has. Similar case for the T-72B (1989), or whatever the year is haha, but that has a longer reload and poor mobility with the lower pen round, so possibly a 10.3 while the T-80UD is 10.7.
