I made the post asking for 2 more missiles after the deserved BR increase (to help in up tiers). But we got people downplaying the tomcat to an extent where it will lose dogfights to a phantom lol.

Tbf you did kinda start it looking back. Like I was simply saying add the R-73 so the IRIAF has its historical loadout and can play another playstyle besides the boring “spam fakours from 8k meters” and then you said any upgrades it got warranted 13.3, which is nonsense (and the like ratio shows it’s not only me who thinks that) and goes against the point of this thread to buff the IRIAF to accommodate its new BR.

Agreed, maybe I have PTSD from the F-14 introduction days but I still don’t think phoenixes should be remotely close to BRs with jets that only have directional RWRs and tiny CM counts, the phantoms are the only thing in a downtier that can really do anything to a tomcat, god forbid anything else tries to BVR with one.

Mig23’s can also somewhat, their radar missiles are very good, provided they survive the fox3 spam, but they still don’t hold a candle to the F14 performance, even the normal A

R-24Rs are seemingly just not giving off RWR warnings too, ate one to the face in the A-5C (pretty modern digi-RWR) since it didn’t give off any pings or hard lock alert, not that i can do anything with my 18 flares (put the A-5C back to 10.0 ffs gaijin)
