Since they changed seeker shut off times, before this update dropped they became poor.
Maybe it’s fixed now, but yeah in a meta where you want a missile that can do more than 15-20G they are poor.
they are pretty crap in rear aspect, but rear aspect only, still pretty good in side and occasionally front aspect. and yeah generally pretty powercrept by now.
I can’t wait to see that we are going to have better F-4J or F-14 in a different tech tree.

f15 bas was better than f15a, f15jm was better than f15c, and f15i was better than f15e
for both arb and sim, especially given how retarded AOA of jets like Typhoon it’s good enough. you just need your missile to not go for few flares like R60M2 R73 does.

the missing pylon has been a thing since they added bol in the dev server it’s just proof to me that they didn’t touch the golden eagle at all past that

They gave it bol a better radar detailed nctr put it at 14.3 and called it a day
But hey, we’ve been told by some CM the F-15C GE was being evaluated every day by the dev team on the dev server.

F-16A was marginally better when Mig-29 was first added, and after the nerfs to Mig-29, the disparity increased.
When F-16A were dropped, there was no Tornado F.3 in this game.
It was added 3 months later. (Sky Guardians in March 2023)
If you really wanted to fight against F-16A while flying with 4th Gen in British.
Tornado GR.1 was the only option.
4 missile or 2 fox3 and 2 irccm, derby are bad, cant even hit target at 20km
maybe in a dogfight, but in every metric that mattered for an ARB match mig29 was much better
and the disparity increased in mig29s favor when it got r27er
