it carries 10 missiles
He probably meant 8 ARH total
Nah, the Su-30SM is better than the F-15, and the SM2 can just rape the F-15
F-15C, Su-27SM, Gripen(s) C, F-2A, F-15J(M) and J-10A wins against the F-16C
gripen is worse unless its british one
Not to mention all eagles are significantly over-performing in excess power and top speed.
No, every gripen beats the shit out of the F-16C, even Sweden and Italian versions
Top speed overperforming? Not all that surprising, but which variants
All of them.
F-15A with 8 missiles using its 102% war time emergency thrust should only hit 1.95 Mach at 40,000 feet in game it does 2.26
So naturally sustained turn performance will be heavily overperforming. Any ability to turn without a loss of speed above 1.95 mach in game is completely fiction.
Gah damn.
Though it would be only very extreme altitudes and speeds it seems
No its across the board even at sea level it does 1.16 when it should only be capable of 1.09.

Nice mate.
Seems to be the exact opposite of the su-27, where that thing is air frame limited while f-15a is thrust limited
More or less lol.
Don’t forget that SU-27 charts usually only have 25% internal fuel too. Its impressive but not as untouchable as some claim.
Yeah true,
It should be slightly less than 25 percent if I remember right, normal is around 47-48 percent fuel
I have the normal fuel load for the su-27sk somewhere on my main pc… I can go looking for it when I get home
Yes its odd the SU-27sk manual says 50% fuel but its 50% of 50% of the total internal fuel volume.
You wont have much time on afterburner lets put it that way.
Okay looking at this more, i kinda agree with the other guy yapping in the comments in the bug report.
The plane is most likely being limited by the missile loadout, it’s most likely faster without them so it’s not an apple to apples comparison .
Pylon drag and its limitations aren’t models in game.
This is more to do with missile drag. Its only got 3 pylons on it the 2 that carry the sidewinders and the one tiny one on the belly.
okay now thinking about this more and yeah your point makes sense.
it shouldn’t be able to maintain a single bit of energy in a turn above these values
The SM has a similar (albeit) weaker flight profile of the SM2, it dosnt have AL-41’s but the AL-31’s it has are more than enough for BVR and can still put up numbers with its flight performance.
Youll be happy to know the US is getting the f15EX and new aim 120D missles
Not confirmed. US could also get PoBIT or F-18E/F block 3
