and the SM/equivalents are very comparable or even better due to the much improved missile kit
So three major things which make it worse at top tier for BVR fighting? Its missiles are about equal as well.

maybe the issue is that you dont realize that BVR is very off meta, unless you have a radar with a high enough gimble limit to provide datalink while in notch

you mean it is much better in both radar performance and missile kit with only a very small disadvantage in flight performance but a much higher instantaneous turn rate
its not the only nations with better planes are russia japan and france

they are equal since am and ocu have block 15 airframe which is lighter so it has better energy retention at the cost of hmd which really isnt an issue since you can just tallbox acm

they carry the same missiles and 120c-5 and 120a still have launch limits so the euro radar doesnt really help much aswell as the euro having an abysmal highspeed fm where it wobbles all over the place and the captor-e only has a better gimbal than the an/apg63 v3 also 12 missiles is 1.5 times larger than 8 missiles so idk what ur on about
