Not wasting my time with the F-15C "Golden Eagle"

Still it feels better since pilot is also not blacking out so easily as in F15C, and both crews are on 75 and bought expert.

F15C Golden EAGLE should receive AIM 120-C7 and AIM-9M-9

Glad it helped, and yeah, it’s super confusing to know which is what.

Not really physically tested for the amber rack. The aircraft in the picture almost certainly wasn’t capable of using them. It was just empty racks mounted on the ground to visually showcase what the F-15C 2040C could be. MRML were later integrated into the F-15EX and backported into the F-15C GE so these should be added for sure.

F18C MLU 2 has 10x AIM-120C-5, can carry 10 of them and also has BOL pods… and it is 14.0 :D

what are even the differences between the 9ms, and do they really matter all that much for wt?

iirc 9m-9 has better IRCCM

but dont know much on it

@Flame2512 what 9m was detailed in that british doc containing elements on how the flare rejection works for 9m?

AIM-9M-10 is like a worse 9X but not by a ton

isn’t that more so the aim 9r? the 9m with a imaging seekerhead?

no the 9R is a the 9R i meant the M9 sorry wrong missile
according to what i can Find the AIM-9M-9/8 is a improved tracking and improved IRRCM version of what we have in game probably could pull more G too not sure

The AIM-9M is a development of the AIM-9L and replaced the latter on the production line. It features a reduced-smoke rocket motor, an improved guidance section designated WGU-4/B, better countermeasures resistance (IRCCM - Infrared Counter-Countermeasures), and improved overall reliability. Production began in 1982, and so far more than 7000 missiles have been built by Raytheon in subtypes numbered AIM-9M-1 through AIM-9M-10. The principal current production versions are the AIM-9M-8 (USN) and AIM-9M-9 (USAF). They have further improved IRCM detection circuitry, and the latest versions of the rocket motor (MK 36 MOD 11), guidance section (WGU-4E/B), and AOTD (DSU-15B/B). The AIM-9M-10 is a slightly modified -9M-8 for use by the F/A-18E/F Hornet . Most existing AIM-9Ms will be upgraded to -9M-8/9 standard. In Operation Desert Storm in 1991, 13 air-to-air kills were attributed to the Sidewinder , all of which were probably AIM-9M missiles.

just got this

obviously not gonna play it rn

but wtf, its HMD doesnt even show where what youve locked with the radar is
why has gaijin made JHMCS so bad even though its known to have a lot of the capabilities of HMDs that are better in game

@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to bother you but are there any news on the monitoring of the golden eagle’s performance for it to get MLMR or we have to wait longer

you have to q up a missile to see an enemy. ik its dumb. but it has that feature

It’s been out 10 mins 🤣 at least wait a month or something

Yeah I’m not s terrible player(not good either), but my stats are incredibly terrible on most planes, I most play 10.0 and up as I have a missile kink lol.

given that gaijin should have understood how DOA it would be and buffed it from its current state before the update went live

if anything this should be asked daily

If you can’t make the F-15C GE work with AESA & BOL at 14.3 idk what to tell you 🤨 Whether it’s 14.0 or 14.3 you’ll still see top tier most of the time anyways so there’s no difference.

I can make it work, I won’t tho. It’s not going to be fun and it’s not going to be good.

So, you can’t make it work. Typical. USA players are interesting. Just hold your breath for the F-22

Lmao, you think the GE is good?
