Flankers are better at high speed and BVR takes place at? And isn’t that laughable that a Flanker is better in any flight regime than a Typhoon.
9M was changed go and look at the UK Typhoon page, Gaijin messed with seeker shutoff time, so much so they would shut off and never reacquire.
Who said 20km? It’s a simple fact if a Rafale wants you dead you are dead. If a Su-30 invests 5 missiles at you you are likely dead.
Typhoon is good but flawed and lacks finesse from the devs. The Radar updates so slowly making those 120 shots even harder and you have 6 of them…Not 8 like the F-15 or 8 MICAS like the Rafale or 12 like the Su-30…6 ARHM. No jet with a payload that poor can ever be considered meta.
Get real. Typhoons can put distance on F-15C which can put some distance on even the faster Flankers
No. The EFT dances around the Su-30 any day of the week. The only fighter whose FM gives sort of a fight against it is the Rafale under pretty niche scenarios, but besides those, even then the EFT wins most of the time.

Flankers simply can’t reach the speeds that the Typhoon does. They do have better energy retention with mouse aim, but are slower overall. They also have worse BVR missiles, excluding the J-11B (which is the only flanker in WT that can really do BVR IMO).
Yes, and you only die sub 10km most of the time. Beyond around 20km you can out energy those missiles, but they become a major threat under around 15km.
I do agree it should be better, and that it needs a better loadout and more reliable radar to be considered the best.
I can confirm that F-15Cs will outrun the J-11B and Su-27SM.

Yes when close it does in BVR it doesn’t the missiles the Su-30 have just put the Typhoon on the defensive, making it hard to get into a position to get a 120 off without trading or outright dying.
This is further exacerbated by the Radar and fighting with it to try and lock the target…Sorry to say the Typhoon in Air RB is painfully Mid. You cannot be aggressive you are a support Jet, Your Radar gives you hardly any SA and you depend more on the spotting system both of your missiles are useless at close range. And your one party trick is being fast for when you launch Aim120s

To put more emphasis on this, I would argue 15JM is in fact better than 15GE, since:
- Strictly better FM as JM is ever so slightly lighter.
- Strictly better missiles for all intents and purposes. Especially in HOBS AAM4 is miles ahead of 120, which matters a lot. Not even to mention that IMHO AAM3 is the 2nd best missile in the game, bar MICA.
- Radar is OK.
- I am yet to run out of CM’s once, so thats how much it missing BOL’s is worth.
And that is at 13.7. WTF gaijin.

What you’re writing is very disappointing. I wanted to get the F-15C Golden Eagle as soon as possible, but now, after what you’ve written, I don’t feel like it anymore.

The JM isn’t missing BOL. The American F-15A/C/E are, but not the J, JM, Baz, Baz M, or I

Thats not the point. JM not having BOL in my eyes is not a disadvantage whatsoever, as not running out of 240cm’s means adding 600 more means exactly zero. That is regardless of what plane did/did not have them IRL, zero is still zero.
Therefore the only actual advantage of GE is the radar and nothing else.

Oh actually correct me if I’m wrong, but GE’s radar has the exact same scan zones as 15C’s? like 60x5, 30x10, 15x15.
Which:
A - is a direct copypaste, as per usual.
B - doesnt benefit fast scan speed as much as it does for, say, a certian plane with its 70x16(iirc), which is simply more convenient for finding things “somewhere over there”. Whats the source on those 60x5 for AESA again? Oh, as per usual.

It’s time to put everyone on the Rafale’s level; that thing, if it’s less than 20km away from you, is unbeatable, and doing a notch on the Mica is difficult.
The MiG-29 has been full of nerfs since its launch compared to the F-16??? Its only advantage is the R-27ER; without it, it would be just another useless plane out there waiting to be shot down by the F-16.
