Grinding out 2 entire trees just to be able to drive your iconic early post WW2 tanks is rather ridiculous to ask, and I say this as someone who enjoys flying.

And as someone who enjoys flying, I rather fly in game modes dedicated to the act and have fun there rather than deal with a 5x5 km bowl (maybe 8x8 on a good day!) with planes phasing into reality as for whatever absurd reason they get an airspawn

SP cost is the bigger factor to consider. A spitfire Mk24 or Meteor without bombs costs about 500 SP. An SPAAG costs 70.

If they were the same cost, I would concur, But that is not the case.

I know, but that is the joke of the British TT. That we lack SPAA at 5.3, 8.3 or 10.3 and thus clearly need more at those BRs. Devil would love to have another 8.3 SPAAG.
