Mk corresponds to version of a thing, so Meteor F Mk 3 means it is a 3rd iteration, it stopped being as common as time went, but was never retiered. In case it was not used, the numer correspondig to the variant was simply given. FGR and F correspond to their role.
Yes, but its technically correct to backtrack and call everything ZTZ/ZTQ/ZTS since they were still members of the same tank family.
Same thing here, I can understand Mk near the beginning like with the Meteors or Griffon Spits, but having Mk also on the Apache (from the 80s, well after Mk was no longer used) just seems weird.
Is it possible that we see more ddgs coming any time soon?Gaijin introduced pr.56k several months before ,and nothing happened after that.Ships like USS DDG-1 should be very interesting in the game.
Even through it doesn’t specifically mention that it was the Lynx 120 Variant who was the one tested but i assume so since the Article is about it. But it says ‘after first succesful tests in Hungary Rheinmetall participates with the KF41 Lynx in competition in Eastern Europe, USA and Australia…’
But the KF41 Lynx is just the Name of the Plattform, could have been the Lynx 120 or the one we already got in the Game for Hungary.
However it also says the Lynx 120 is the first Tank who will be equipped with the ADS (Active Defense System) as standart.
yea … IMHO, it was the IFV variant that was tested not the 120mm light tank.
Coz if Hungary did, Rheinmetall would have marketed that info.
Tracked Light tank market is not so demanding as the MBT market … very few countries are inducting tracked light tanks nowadays (only US, China, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Philippines are new customers)
the CV90120, Kaplan MT have attracted very few nations till now
So, If Hungarian test did take place, Rheinmetall would’ve used that info to gain more nation’s interests, like they’re doing with Greek KF-41 tests (as well as past Ausie and current US competition)
Hungary tested the kf41 ifv version not the 120mm version. Despite that if Hungary doesn’t use the kf41 120mm version (which they aren’t) then it should go to the producer/developer nation which is germany. Just testing isn’t enough especially since Hungary is just a subtree
A tank build specifically for south africa isn’t comparable with the kf41 120mm version. But like I said Hungary didn’t even test the kf41 120mm version. There is no reason to add it to italy
I’m afraid that it is, trialed vehicles have been in game for a while now and aren’t ancient additions that can’t be considered representative anymore.
Hell, there’s even vehicles that were only shown off in a country, not even trialed by local crews (Soviet stuff in Sweden).
But Hungary didn’t even test the kf41 120mm. The website this dude above posted only says that the kf41 is already successful in hungary relating to the ifv version.
yea … the “trial/logic” logic was/is a tricky one
on one hand you get these weird choices like T-80U in Sweden
and this opens the pandora’s box of Centauro for US and Russia, M60 for Germany, AS-90 for Finland etc
but on the other hand, we can get unique stuffs/prototypes like BAE FRES SCOUT SV for UK or LAV III T7 105mm LSPH for US etc …
