Seems it has a faster loading system than the sholef v1.
This sounds like stabilizer, whats the point of saying your tank can fire in the move if its gonna miss all the shots due to cannon woobling vertically.
In resume, I want this thing because its the closest thing Israel can get and very similar to the pzh2000, vidar and the new british that do not remember the name. Instead of another m109. Just hope its not behind a paywall this time.
It’s the same one, the 6.67s in the suggestion post in from the 9rpm figure, which gaijin chose to ignore for the V1. Very sad (also if you’re gonna refer to that post, ignore it’s “60 degree turret traverse rate” figure lol, alongside it incorrectly saying it got the Merk Mk.3 engine or could use APFSDS, ofekk had a few things wrong in retrospect)
They did buff it in the end, but only slightly. When the Pzh2000 first came out, everyone was complaining about it lacking a burst fire, so they gave it one, and subsequently the Sholef it alongside it (it’s still not enough to reach 9rpm, but much better than it was).
EXACTLY! Literally no point to advertise it otherwise. However I do get why they think this way, as the same argument could be raised as to why it’s not directly advertised as being “stabilized” or having a stabilizer. Sadly doesn’t look like they’ll change their mind…
If it was biblically accurate, it would even surpass them I bet. The main problem yet to be fixed is that it weighs 15 tons excess still ingame (it eated the Merky Mk.4’s weight, that’s the gaijin lore of where that went and you can’t convince me otherwise lmao). https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/McbAXBGPc2MU
I can happily settle for it getting its confirmed features, and the ones above, as if done correctly:
It would have one of the best Hp/t ratios ingame, one of the best HE rounds, one of the best muzzle velocities, a LRF, Thermals, smoke grenades, ESS, great hull armor, machine gun fire protected, and a good burst fire capability.
I do as well pray it’s not a premium, here’s to hoping!
Tbf I wouldn’t mind finally getting the M109A5 Doher to act as the follow-up to the M109A2 Rochev. Basically could be a Rochev with the Sholef V1 rounds, seemingly a LRF, and other things alongside the upgrades of being an A5, such as the slightly stronger engine. There’s also the SPARK prototype but idk too much about it myself, gets the kewl L/52 gun tho so that’s neato
I think you missed how I said of good firepower now a few do exist but wouldn’t help Germany fill gaps. Things like the Marder 105 or Marder 2 (with the 50mm) do exist and the newer kf41 fire support but most of our prototypes from the cold war were mainly ifvs with 25mm or 30mm guns what are really cool but theses simply aren’t good for war thunder
Alright then, here are 12 unique light tanks modified or produced by/for Germany in the Cold War period that are armed with “heavy” weaponry. These include export proposals as well as a couple import components, however all are related to Germany in some official capacity. This list does not include IFVs of any caliber, including those with ATGMs, nor does it include light tank/IFV chassis modified into missile TDs. This list also leaves out everything not produced in the Cold War, of which I assure you there are many more things I could add.
The last photo there is a fake it’s a movie prop but again there are some but most wouldn’t do anything to change it the ru251 would be nice to have in the tree but I genuinely doubt it because there’s already a premium the m41 GTI tho would be decent the Marder micv has no proof of being made iirc just possible ideas (and that 60mm is ass) th301 wouldn’t change anything bmp1a1 OST would be amazing to see since it’s already in game and we cope for it soon and the puma acv would be perfect depending on where gajin places them they could be useful or completely useless
A premium that was added in 2017. Maybe I’m just delusional but I think it’s been long enough to get a tech tree version.
That’s on me, I just assumed that since it was in suggestion form, it would have been a prototype. But you are correct, the only source after translation calls it a “proposal”.
Uh, yes it would? The A4 variant with thermals and an 800hp engine would almost certainly be justifiable at 9.3, which has a much larger lineup when compared to 9.7 with the Begleit. Sure, you could uptier the TAM, but the TH301/A4 gives an improvement in both mobility and gunnery that I think more competitive players would much appreciate.
Also, you didn’t address either of the Spähpanzerjägers, which would perfectly fill that rank IV gap you so complain of.
That turret was added by the at the time owners, a prop house (at least according to reddit and the suggestion post of the heavier hull version).
“This is not really “experimental”, it wasn’t used for experiments. The old ACV Puma was a family of vehicles developed for export. While a lightr/medium tank variant with a Leopard 1A5 turret was offered, the turret on this specific prototype was placed on it by the late owner, i.e. a company renting “tanks” to movie productions.” - murkskopf on reddit
“At an unknown date, it was decided to mount a Leopard 1A5 turret onto the light version of the ACV Puma, however, all pictures of this vehicle show the turret in a partially disassembled state. It is ultimately unknown if the turret was like this when it was fitted or if it was the result of demilitarization. (I’m saying this to give context to the pictures below.)” - PM 2 with Leopard 1A5 Turret - This Looks So Wrong
more mission editor test flight maps, missions, and modern carriers Fully loaded F-4s can’t comfortably take off of the WW2 escort carriers in game this may be a bit minor compared to the scope of the game but having aircraft up to and a little past the gulf war while only being able to fly maps from the pacific theater of WW2 for the US is kinda lackluster, a few map ideas that could just be yoinked from already existing maps is Vietnam, Afghanistan, Falklands (i know US didn’t actively fight there but still), Sinai, Korea (we hardly even see that map, i only saw it while spading the A-4B, A-4E early, and FJ-4B), Norway, and Spain, and possibly more cold war middle east maps when they come out, but while on the topic, bring back the CO-OP Dynamic campaign
Possibly but it’s rare to get a premium vehicle or similar to one in the tree
That’s just because I don’t like em tbh and there’s not a gap at rank 4 we have the m41 at 6.7 thoses would like be a 6.0 or 6.3 going off similar french vehicle the gaps are before rank 4 since yk nothing from 3.7 to 6.7 and later in the tree where the only real option for a speedy light tank is the radkafwagen or begleitpanzer at 9.7 and 10.0 and don’t give the oh the Marders because I think they shouldn’t be called light tanks ifvs should have their own class
