I forgot about that second one, I am disappointed that it still isn’t in the game

Who wouldn’t love a 37mm gatling gun

Right? Even with the ammo crate, you would still have some issues with ammo, but to hell with that.

oh yeah its still tilted in favor of CAS just not as much as it used to be. which is why while I find the idea of ARMs and ECM being added cool on paper especially for the potential use in air battles(and it might happen soon from how things are looking) I am mostly against it at the moment on the grounds that it will just end up make playing SAMs even more of a chore than they already are.

There are honestly a lot of weapons i would be fine with gaijin adding(this includes MMW weapons btw) just as long as they are allowed nowhere near ground battles. But unfortunately gaijin will never limit stuff like that so i guess it is what it is.

Actually, if it had been adopted it would definitely have been run with an ammo carrier. With the addition of multi vehicle systems, why not give it the same thing but the secondary vehicle is just an ammo carrier?

There’s disappointingly not enough info to ever get it into war thunder, the only info I know of is from the patent which is actually just about the suspension

Question: Was the EAP ever known to have been intended to be armed in anyway whatsoever other than having provisions?
The Su-47 suggestion isn’t too strange to me because muh Yak-141 with all the stuff it never got, but the yak prototype (prototypess?) was apparently planned to get. I ain’t gaijin, nor too familiar with these aircraft in particular, but it seems like the Su-47 doesn’t break their rules if I understand them correctly.
Now I remember the MiG 1.44 being up for a bit before it got taken down, but iirc wasn’t the consensus that it wasn’t ever planned to be armed? Maybe my memory on that is fuzzy, but that’s what I thought happened with that suggestion, and if it was it supports my idea on the whole planned provisions for “unfinished prototypes” rule.

The EAP was never meant to be armed, but as far as I know, the Su-47 wasn’t meant to be armed either.

The MiG 1.44 was a demonstrator, that is true, but the MiG 1.42 was supposed to be armed, as the 1.42 would be the production variant and there were prototypes for that.
So, if anything, the MiG 1.44/1.42 would be a more realistic addition than the Su-47, based on the Yak-141s case.

On top of that, the Su-47 never was considered to become a service aircraft, as they realised that the design was extremely flawed
