I wouldn’t even mind getting fewer interesting vehicles per update, IF Gaijin was putting the effort that would be required for interesting vehicles into improving the game in general.
There is so much they could do with the existing game modes, so much that could be done to improve the gameplay in general, but apparently infantry has become a high priority addition instead of anything that would make existing game modes more interesting and gameplay more engaging.
Imagine if they put more work into co-op modes, the campaign modes or the world war mode…
Or if they put some actual effort into new mechanics rather than adding them in the most barebones way possible…
Or, god forbid, if they added mechanics that have been missing for years, like proper ECM, regenerative braking or literally anything to make IFVs IFVs and not just light vehicles with a bunch of empty space.
No guys you dont understand! This thing right here. It totally broken guys, So therefore we must add this even more broken thing. And if you dont agree with my sound logic I uh… bias or something.
Honestly we have just reached a point where i would consider the current state of things more or less kinda balanced. KH-38s, LMUR,JAGM, and SPICE 250 and such do actually have fairly decent counters in the new SAMs. There are certainly still moments where a plane can get up and absolutely wreck a game for people of course. but its nowhere near as bad or one sided as it was like half a year ago now.
so its genuinely funny to me when people ask for something like MMW Brimstone because i know for a fact they aren’t doing it for “balance” reasons no they are just doing it because they are a single nation main who wants their preferred nation to stomp.
Yeah, I’ll have to agree with that. GRB definitely is a lot more balanced than it used to be.
Personally, I think anti air is at a disadvantage again, but there isn’t much Gaijin could do to change that, now that they opened the can of worms that is long range FnF missiles on helicopters.
Absolutely. A lot of people seem to be stuck with the “I suffered for x amount of time, so now the other side should suffer” and that approach is not healthy for the game balance at all.
JEEPS WITH RECOILLESS RIFLES. HMMWV’s as well. More oscillating turrets for US, except in the TT. It’s also time for the goofy Cold War projects. More wheeled vehicles as well in general, where’s my LAV-25?
Here is a balance idea that I have been wanting. US is the only nation without a missile carrier in TT. The US literally created the TOW launcher, and doesn’t even have a vehicle whose designated role is to operate one. TOW HMMWV, Jeep with TOW?
According to the suggestion: provisions were made for a radar to be fitted within the radome, and the ability to carry weapons internally and externally was supposedly “planned”. I’m not too familiar with the aircraft myself so I’m just going off that
